The Pavilions at Rockport Beach sit along Rockport Beach on Aransas Bay in Rockport, Texas — home turf recognized as Texas' first Blue Wave Beach. Four rental pavilions give planners a range of settings, from glass-fronted indoor space to open-air, beachfront gathering spots. The Saltwater Pavilion is the largest of the four, a glass-fronted, climate-controlled meeting, reception, and ceremony room that seats up to 200 guests and overlooks the Saltwater Lagoon, Key Allegro, and the Connie Hagar Wildlife Sanctuary. It includes a private open-air veranda and a catering kitchen, making it a strong fit for weddings and larger receptions. The smaller Beachfront Pavilion sits directly on the sand facing Aransas Bay and holds up to 85 guests, well suited to more intimate beachfront ceremonies. The open-air Blue Wave and Little Bay Pavilions, with picnic tables and barbecue pits, suit casual family gatherings and group cookouts. Beach weddings can be held directly on the sand or staged from one of the pavilions, with pavilion renters given first choice of ceremony site along the beach. Let your creativity go wild with weddings, corporate events, and family gatherings. Our Story The trees attracted us when we first walked into the land that would become Dos Arbolitos. A unique mix of towering bull pines, large post oaks, pin oaks, burr oaks, and live oaks grew alongside massive post oaks, pin oaks, burr oaks, and live oaks. The forest was alive with birds and there were acres of yellow coreopsis. Our goal has been to make this incredible setting our home while maintaining the natural beauty and calm that drew us to the property in the first place. We wanted to retain the solitude, tranquility, and serenity of the old forest by surrounding our new home inside it, as well as develop and conserve the unique woodland setting we had fallen in love with. We wanted to capture the sounds and sensations of the woods while also honoring the land and paying homage to early twentieth-century Texas. Everything we did in the construction of Dos Arbolitos was done with a distinct feeling of care. We tried to remember that special feeling we had the first day we walked onto the land and were calmed by the cool breezes in the middle of summer, enchanted by the choir of birds singing in the virgin forest, and eventually swept away by the natural woodland beauty of this place we knew would become our home with each step we took. Now we want to share Dos Arbolitos' beauty and peace with others.

Set on a private road in the Texas Hill Country north of San Antonio, Lost Mission is a wedding and special-event venue built around an authentic mission-style chapel and reception hall, surrounded by oak trees off Highway 46 near Spring Branch. The property was built beginning in 2009 by contractor Lon Danley, who drew on his New Mexico upbringing to construct the buildings from more than 6,500 stacked straw bales finished in white stucco, in the style of Old World Spanish architecture. Handcrafted details from Lost Mission's on-site workshop appear throughout the property, including hand-carved white oak and cypress doors, wrought-iron sconces and chandeliers, 1890s pews shipped in from a Pennsylvania church, and a mission bell reclaimed from a Kerrville farm. The climate-controlled Mission Style Chapel seats up to 240 guests beneath stained-glass windows, while the Modern Reception Hall accommodates up to 350 guests and features a 40-foot firewall, wood trusses, a rock fireplace, and a built-in bar. A 7,000-square-foot patio with cafe lighting and a stream-side path connects the two spaces. Lost Mission hosts one wedding per day, with rental packages that include round guest tables, cross-back chairs, a bridal suite and groom's room, a ceremony sound system, and setup and cleanup staff.
