In our rustic Italian Cucina, we can comfortably seat 50 people and provide a variety of pre-fixed menus to ensure that your dining experience runs smoothly! In the heart of Little Italy, on India Street, Ristorante Illando is within walking distance of the Porto Vista Hotel & Suites, DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel San Diego Downtown, The Trolley Stop, Maritime Museum, San Diego County Administration Center, and Waterfront Park. The restaurant serves Italian cuisine. 50 people can be accommodated. Bathroom, air conditioning, fans, and windows are among the amenities (with a view of India Street) It is our main room, which has been designed in a cozy, rustic setting, with walls lined with family photographs, which will make you and your guests feel as if they are in our own Landini residence. It is an excellent venue for private parties, wine tastings, corporate meetings, wedding rehearsal dinners, holiday parties, and other events. Our semi-private dining area is ideal for groups of up to 12 people for lunch or dinner. This area, which is separated from the main dining room by a beautiful sliding barn door, provides guests with privacy while still retaining the character of the restaurant. On the patio, you can enjoy a casual meal. When our sister restaurant, Landini's Pizzeria, opened its doors for business in the fall of 2009, our outdoor patio was designed to complement the space. The Prado is a National Historic Landmark in Balboa Park. After a comprehensive renovation and modernization, The Prado reopened in 2000. The building's architecture, artwork, sculptures, alcoves, gardens, and fountains were all restored during the three-year makeover. The venue's authenticity is enhanced by over two dozen original, hand-painted wooden stencil designs on doors, as well as the elaborate hand stenciled ceilings and beams. The "Women of Tehuantepec" sculpture by Donal Hord is still on display in the renovated central courtyard's fountain. The National Geographic Society and the Climate Science Alliance are collaborating to offer a series of evening talks and daytime lessons on climate change in 2021, which will be the first time. No general admission fee is required to visit the Museum of Photographic Arts (MOPA), which is located in historic Balboa Park, and visitors are encouraged to make a donation in lieu of paying admission. Japanese Friendship Garden’s precious plants and garden elements are part of its museum collection.
