We designed Ace Brooklyn from the ground up, every piece in service of the borough's ceaseless ingenuity, made to move and breathe right along with the city itself, as the next chapter in Ace's long relationship with New York. The hotel's Brutalist front blends smoothly with interiors inspired by European modernists' raw artist studio spaces, thanks to longstanding Ace partners Roman and Williams. Guest rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows with panoramic views of Manhattan, Staten Island, and the Statue of Liberty, as well as a common lobby and a large-scale installation by artist Stan Bitters. Located on Pier 41 in the historic shipping yards of Red Hook, Brooklyn, this restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The building, which was built prior to the Civil War in the 1850s, has recently been transformed into a charming event space. The location, which is directly on the water's edge, provides spectacular views of New York Harbor. The Liberty Warehouse is the only location in the entire city of New York where the Statue of Liberty is displayed face forward, as she gazes toward France. It is a truly unique location that must be experienced in person to be fully appreciated. It can accommodate up to 400 people for a sit-down dinner and up to 1200 people for cocktails. Two large event rooms with large windows that face due west provide spectacular sunset views are available for rental. Two smaller rooms that are ideal for indoor ceremonies, small gatherings, and cocktail parties. Special performances are staged in this area. All of the event rooms have working wood-burning fireplaces. There are 15,000 square feet of space at the Liberty Warehouse, which includes a wonderful waterside promenade that provides glamorous panoramic views of New York Harbor, the Statue of Liberty, and the Verrazano bridge. Once a rope factory producing twine and oakum for the shipyards along the East River, it was also the birthplace of the famous wartime ship, the USS Monitor. The Greenpoint Terminal Warehouse boasts the original brick and wood of the era and the building facade remains untouched from the 1890s. The Faurschou Foundation was established in 2011 by Mr. Faurschou after decades as gallery owner focusing on international contemporary art. Faurschou New York and Chef Refslund represent a perfect partnership, as they compliment each other’s stunning collections of inspirations. Terroir represents the sum of natural forces: soil condition, sun, wind, and rain. When we eat food that expresses terroir, we feel connected to a particular area of land and sea, and its unique characteristics, and by extension, to the people that live there, their struggles and sensibilities. Thus, Chef Refslund’s menus feature a naturalistic and hyperseasonal cuisine, with a clearly defined focus on vegetables indigenous to the region, seasonal bounty and honoring the Earth’s cycles.

A 24-person capacity private roof deck provides day and nighttime options for outside activities. The street-level gallery offers a crisp white-brick gallery space with neutral gray concrete floors and walls stretching 15 ft in height.
