Avant Gardner
An award-winning venue, Avant Gardner is the crown jewel of New York City entertainment. Today, the 80,000 square foot venue complex continues to occupy an entire city block of industrial East Williamsburg, containing a compound of stages and full-service event spaces. The venue’s centerpiece is the outdoor Brooklyn Mirage (5,000 cap) which also features a 360° wrap-around high wall offering panoramic views of Manhattan. Brooklyn Mirage is centered between permanent indoor warehouse spaces, Great Hall (3,400 cap) and Kings Hall (800 cap). The complex is also home to the exclusive Artist Village (100 cap), which can be a private bar space utilized for industry guests, or an intimate space for emerging artists and livestreams. Ace Hotel Brooklyn
The Ace Hotel Brooklyn is located in Boerum Hill, on the outskirts of Downtown Brooklyn, about a block from the Hoyt-Schermerhorn Station and at the crossroads of everything. We designed Ace Brooklyn from the ground up, every piece in service of the borough's ceaseless ingenuity, made to move and breathe right along with the city itself, as the next chapter in Ace's long relationship with New York. The hotel's Brutalist front blends smoothly with interiors inspired by European modernists' raw artist studio spaces, thanks to longstanding Ace partners Roman and Williams. Guest rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows with panoramic views of Manhattan, Staten Island, and the Statue of Liberty, as well as a common lobby and a large-scale installation by artist Stan Bitters. We created a lush indoor garden with a double-sided fireplace and sawtooth skylight, as well as lots of indoor and outdoor work spaces for our neighbors and visitors — a permanent home to carry on the city's great legacy of people doing things their way, together. Spaces for Events The Ace Hotel Brooklyn's highly adjustable event rooms were created to serve a never-ending borough, designed to move and breathe in tandem with the metropolis. Gallery With year-round featured exhibitions and talks, our gallery space, which has an oculus skylight, provides as a continual showcase for local artists and artisans. The Workplace Our second-floor meeting rooms are flexible spaces with floor-to-ceiling windows and are modular and appropriate for any occasion. Edison Ballroom
