The centerpiece is a Greek-Revival/Georgian brick house built around 1859 for the Willcoxon family, where Federal soldiers left graffiti on the interior walls during the winter of 1862-63 — a detail that has made the property a stop on both the Virginia Civil War Trails and the Northern Virginia Graffiti Trail.
