Communion Celebrations Communion Events arose from a flood of requests from members of our community who wanted to utilize our space for their birthday parties, dinner parties, graduation parties, and so on. As a result, we immediately built an events program to meet their needs while also allowing our Coworking members to use the space. With this, we can now provide the main Coworking space after 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and all day on weekends. We're always seeking for new ways to put the space to creative use, and the events have provided us with an opportunity to do so. We host a number of different events, including public, private, and ticketed events. Communion Restaurant offers a variety of exclusive food and bar choices to ensure that each occasion is a turnkey, one-of-a-kind experience. Each quarter, Communion hosts one public event. This includes our annual Crawfest benefit for Capernaum Young Life (Sean Mann) in the spring, our monthly Artisan Market, and Meet the Heroes, when kids dress up as super heroes and meet our local heroes in the police, fire, and EMT departments. We provide a wide range of ticketed events. We recently established Communion Unplugged, a monthly music series. Santa's Breakfast, Sharing Table multi-course pairing dinners, sporting watch parties, and so on are all on the list. In terms of private gatherings, we can assist with almost any event under 200 people. To mention a few, operas, high school graduations, weddings, receptions, sweet sixteens, baby showers, book launch parties, company parties, Christmas parties, High School dances, church events, and a 50th wedding anniversary... Every event is focused on excellence and execution. We bring the Richardson community together in a variety of ways around a particular experience on any given day through events. In a way that is unique to Communion, this has allowed us to engage with and invest in the community. Communion is a location where Richardson locals create and celebrate their memories.

Astoria Event Venue is located 15 minutes north of downtown Dallas and is over 23,000 sqft. The main event hall is over 12,500 square feet and can easily be scaled to comfortably host sit down events with over 700 guests. Complimenting the large main space are two additional furnished suites – each one over 1,100 square feet. Astoria has 18-foot ceilings, spacious catering and prep areas (to accommodate large plated dinners), ample and convenient parking, and state of the art Audio and Video systems already installed throughout the venue. Our lobby is located within the historic building at 4500 Westgrove Drive. We can host a wide variety of events from charity functions, weddings, company parties, photoshoots, vehicle grand reveals, small concerts, expos and more! Let your imagination run wild as this space is a blank canvas, so you can decorate and make it fit any theme or occasion. There is a huge hangar door what can be opened as much or as little as you prefer. Also, we have heaters in the hangar for cooler days. 6,500-sq foot studio space located in the heart of the Dallas Design District with a lush garden oasis. The large open plan studio layout provides plenty of options to design a perfect environment for your event. The space has a Poggenpohl kitchen at the front of the studio and an industrial kitchen at the back of the studio designed for food prep. Additional rooms for hair and makeup and a loading dock are available. Built over a 55-year period beginning in 1924, the four buildings that make up Lone Star Gas Lofts are situated on a full city block bounded by Harwood, Wood, St. Paul and Jackson Streets in downtown Dallas. Two of the structures, the Lone Star Gas Co. and Dallas Gas Company buildings, are historic landmarks and fine examples of Lang and Witchell architecture with beautiful Art Deco details and are Dallas’ latest historic landmarks to be revived by Hamilton Properties in partnership with Central Dallas CDC.The Lone star Gas Co. Building is a thirteen story Art Deco structure with rich street entrances bearing ornate light fixtures. The elaborately appointed lobby once served as the bill payment area, back in the age when paying your bill meant taking a trip downtown, and still has soaring columns with ornamental check stands, a high beamed ceiling in brilliant colors and relief sculptures carved into the stone walls. This part of the historic building is now home to The Carlisle Room. Opulent is the best way to describe this newly renovated downtown venue. Twenty foot ceilings, terrazzo floors and marble pillars are just a few of the highlights of this historic 1930's Art Deco design.
