Our Boat The Beneteau Oceanis 40 Center Cockpit optimizes comfort and easy living in a way that few boats in this category can approach. The deep centre cockpit gives excellent protection from the elements and the cutter rig and in-mast furling mainsail provide a versatile sail plan and good performance. Below deck, you will find the saloon which has a table with 'U' shaped seating and a well equipped chart table and navigation area. There are plenty of opening ports offering excellent ventilation and lots of natural light. The owners cabin boasts a huge amount of space you would normally only expect on a much larger yacht, with a centerline double berth, vanity unit and excellent storage. There is a generously sized en-suite heads compartment with a separate shower stall. The en-suite double guest cabin is forward of the saloon with a very practical layout. The GFWC Coral Gables Woman's Club, established in 1923, is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to making the South Florida community a better place to live by promoting education, health, and social welfare. A historic landmark with event facilities available for hire on the premises. It was erected in 1935 and can accommodate up to 240 people for a sit-down dinner and 200 guests for a buffet-style reception at its greatest capacity. Wood flooring has been installed throughout the house, as well as new drapes. All of the windows have been replaced as well. A limousine entry, as well as a romantic and comfortable setting, are available as amenities. The ballroom is illuminated by magnificent chandeliers. The ceilings are very high. There is a kitchen and a bar area. This ballroom may be booked in combination with the South Hall Ballroom, which is located just across the hall from it. This would allow you to have your ceremony in one ballroom and your reception in the other, saving money on space. Both facilities are managed by our rental agent. His exquisite ballroom, which was also completed in 1935, has recently been rebuilt and can accommodate up to 200 people for a sit-down supper and 170 guests for a buffet-style lunch. Wow! It seems like only yesterday when we refurbished the landmark neighborhood fixture of the little purple house in Wynwood, Miami, Florida. The first order of business? Choosing our name. Morgan, our oldest daughter, was chosen as a direct result of her uncanny ability in the great sibling equalizer rock, paper, scissors, winning five straight matches and several "re-dos". We suppose it's those communal moments that give us that pep in our collective step. The world has gone up and got itself in some hurry, even the clouds seem to have somewhere to be. At Morgan's we've gone ahead and selected to press pause and enjoy the moment, to cherish companionship. We can still remember running around our summer home, which was also the back porch of our winter home. Enjoying the sun from the day's end, sitting on that old wooden swing with a calm breeze that carried us into a warm summer evening. We've worked our brow off to create that same comforting feeling at Morgan's, where listening is valued as much as speaking and good friends and family take the cake, well, pie as is often in our case.
