The Locanda Verde private dining room is a pleasant and versatile environment meant to provide a relaxing and transportive atmosphere. It has recycled New England oak and pine, a working stone fireplace, brick-lined arched windows, and an eye-catching ceiling inlay made of 90,000 wine corks. Our seasonal Italian menus are designed to be shared and served family-style. Our sommelier is on hand to help you navigate our Italian wine and spirits range. A dedicated service staff is also available, as well as a zinc-topped bar. Up to 60 people can be seated in the room, making it ideal for your next private dinner, brunch, breakfast, or business conference. Chef Andrew Carmellini's soul-satisfying urban Italian food is served at Locanda Verde, our TriBeCa neighborhood taverna. Since 2009, our busy corner restaurant has welcomed New Yorkers morning, noon, and night with a warm and inviting ambiance, a leisurely Italian style, and heartfelt cooking. Our private dining and options, which are tailored to the specific needs of each party, range from a 90-person seating in our Bellecour Room to a full restaurant takeover for up to 150 guests. Our private dining team will take care of all the details of your event, from customized menus to floral decoration, for wedding receptions and other large-format celebrations. Personal wine consultations, event walk-throughs, and the highly personalized attention that one would expect from a world-renowned restaurant will also be provided to event hosts as part of the package. Guests can also take advantage of more than one of our spaces by reserving the entire restaurant for themselves. A ceremony in the Bellecour Room is followed by a reception in the Bar and Lounge before a seated dinner in the Main Dining Room. This is a popular choice for weddings and other milestone celebrations because of the variety of options available. When it comes to full restaurant takeovers, live music and other forms of entertainment are welcomed at DANIEL as well.
