The Community Sailing Center is a community-based nonprofit organization providing access, education, and recreation on Lake Champlain for almost 8,000 people annually. The new Community Waterfront Center is a vital hub on the shores of the lake where community members and visitors to Burlington gather to play and learn on the lake together. We engage our community with the lake through a wide range of educational and recreational programs that extend an open invitation to everyone regardless of age, gender, race, physical ability, or the means to pay. Our Signature Programs are specially designed for students, at-risk youth, women and girls, and individuals with disabilities, enabling underserved populations to access and take ownership of Lake Champlain. Our educational programs engage students in lake ecology and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) using sailing, place-based and experiential learning to meet the needs of local schools and their students. Built around 1840 by Frank Josselyn on the site of an even older 1799 structure, the Echo Lake Inn is one of only six inns still operating in Vermont that were originally constructed as inns. It sits on Dublin Road in the village of Tyson, part of Plymouth, Vermont, on ten acres bordering Echo Lake near Okemo Mountain. For weddings, the property centers on the Wedding Dell, a natural amphitheater set into the surrounding forest, with the nearby Wishing Well offering an alternate ceremony spot. Receptions move into a dedicated wedding tent outfitted with a dance floor and bar, and couples who book the inn for the weekend can house their whole wedding party across its 20 guestrooms and 8 condominiums. Guests have access to a seasonal pool, jacuzzi, tennis and pickleball court, kayaks, canoes, and rowboats for exploring the lake, plus a restaurant and pub serving farm-to-table dishes made with local, sustainably sourced ingredients.

Set on 88 private acres above Vermont's Mad River Valley, Bliss Ridge is a working organic farm that has hosted one-of-a-kind weddings since 2011. The property welcomes only one wedding per weekend, giving each couple exclusive use of the farm's 360-degree panoramic views and photo opportunities. At the heart of the property sits a restored, hand-hewn post-and-beam barn from the 1800s, with 35-foot ceilings and seating for up to 225 guests. Couples can also book two artisan-built treehouses for lodging and getting-ready space: a fully insulated, four-season treehouse built in 2023, and the original Bird's Nest treehouse, built in 2020 over a babbling brook and open May through October. Beyond the ceremony and reception spaces, Bliss Ridge offers an artesian well-fed swimming pond with a sandy beach, a wood-fired sauna, and a cedar barrel cold plunge. The farm holds a full liquor license and creates custom bar menus, and its flower and vegetable gardens supply florals for weddings on-site. Owner Jordan brings 20 years of event planning experience, from private yacht parties to large corporate conferences, to each wedding hosted at Bliss Ridge.

Halvorson's Upstreet Cafe has been owned and operated by the Halvorson family for over 40 years on the top block of Burlington, Vermont's Church Street Marketplace. The restaurant is known for its casual atmosphere and beautiful outdoor seating in the heart of downtown Burlington. Behind the cafe, just off Church Street, Halvorson's operates a private event space open year-round. The rental includes up to four areas: an open-air courtyard framed by an ivy-covered brick wall, a built-in bar, and two adjacent indoor rooms suited for dining, activities, cocktail hours, or presentations. The space accommodates up to 35 guests seated or 120 guests standing, with the restaurant's professional staff on hand to handle event details. Each summer, Halvorson's also hosts the Courtyard Music Series, a run of evenings featuring local music and beverages in the courtyard, with proceeds benefiting Vermont nonprofits.
