  A uniform and linen factory transformed into a spacious event space. Since 1994, we have operated as a family-owned company. I grew up with my parents who owned and ran a uniform and linen firm that is still in business now. When they launched a linen rental business in downtown Chamblee in 2001, they catered to some of the most elite clientele in the greater Atlanta region. From Turner Field to Bacchanalia, we learnt all about the ins and outs of being gracious in the hospitality business. In 2016, we sold the company, and in 2017, we renamed the space Factory Atlanta to reflect the new ownership. Ideally, we would like to collaborate with people who have a clear picture in mind for their project, their special day, or their milestone event. The Showroom is 2400 square feet and can accommodate events of up to 100 people. The glass garage door provides views of the spectacular railroad lines in the back and has enough space to accommodate a truck or a car. A lasting impression on your guests will be created by the Showroom. The Factory Floor provides you with 5600 square feet of creative flexibility. Because of the concrete flooring and 18-foot ceilings, you may design a really unique experience to your needs. You may let your creativity run wild when you have the Showroom at your disposal.

The main structure is an all-wood barn with 7,000 square feet of cement floor, heated and air-conditioned throughout, with attached pavilions, a breezeway, and shed porches that allow guests to move freely under shelter. Exposed rafters, rough-sawn wood walls, lantern lighting, a stack stone fireplace, and an antique buckboard wagon give the space its distinctive character. Outside, pristine meadows, a spring-fed pond with a lighted fountain, and views of the North Georgia mountains provide the backdrop for ceremonies at three dedicated sites: The Meadow, The East Lawn, and The Fireplace Room.   THE NAME OF OUR COMPANY The name "Rockin' T Meadows" derives from our 70-foot-long front porch, which is furnished with "Rockin" chairs that allow you to relax and enjoy the beauty of cattle grazing and grass swaying in the breezes as you look out across the rolling "Meadows" and hay fields. The letter "T" is, of course, derived from the proprietors' last name, Thornton. ​LOCATION Atlanta, Macon, and the surrounding areas are all within a short drive of the Rockin' T Meadows farm. The farm is located in Milner, Georgia. John and Martha Thornton maintain a 160-acre family farm on which they raise their children. The original house on the property, which was erected in 1849, included a gambrel wooden barn, which we refurbished in order to host family gatherings and events. Unfortunately, in 2012, lightning struck the wooden barn, causing it to be completely demolished. During the summer of 2013, we constructed a new barn to accommodate our huge family and church gatherings. Many people have inquired as to whether or not we would consider hosting weddings. Our decision to commence building of our bridal and groom suites, as well as modifications to create our dance hall, was made after considerable deliberation in 2015. Since opening, we've continued to improve our facility by adding new features each season to make it something truly unique. The Rockin' T Meadows Wedding Package is an all-inclusive package that includes everything. Reserving the Rockin' T Meadows All-Inclusive Package means that you are booking your venue as well as all of your vendors at the same time.
