Our main event space's white lime-washed walls and high ceilings, which can accommodate over 300 people, are drenched in unending natural sunlight. With our oversized sliding glass doors that open to the veranda, you can easily go from the inside to the outside. Our 5000 square foot ceremony garden, which seats up to 600 guests and was designed by Adam Barbe (of the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center), offers breathtaking vistas of groomed acres with big oak trees all around. With stunning views of our polo grounds, our covered veranda accommodates up to 80 guests and seamlessly transitions from interior to outdoor spaces. Our resort is situated in a peaceful and beautiful country setting. This land has been in the family for a long time, and we are continually astounded by the natural beauty that these old oak trees bring after more than 25 years. We are the parents of three children. We discovered that we have a passion for planning and working on our children's weddings because of the family, love, and friends they represent. We're less than an hour's drive east of Dallas. Our site can accommodate 250 people and has a huge indoor reception and ceremony area. There is also an outdoor wedding location with a wide covered terrace and a fire pit. Our site provides a bridal suite with a bathroom as well as a grooms suite where the guys can relax before the ceremony. The caterer will be able to set up and cook the food in our catering kitchen. Words cannot adequately describe how lovely this country environment is. Come see what we're all about! This family-owned venue is the perfect private "country" location, nestled on a calm, wooded 6 acres. The oak-shaded ceremonial space is reached through a flagstone walkway. The Heritage Farmstead Museum (HFM) is the main living history site in North Texas portraying the Texas Blackland Prairie region. It is located on a working farm. The HFM, which is certified by the American Alliance of Museums, aspires to provide a glimpse into the past for individuals of all ages, interests, and origins. The museum is a public service institution, and it is held responsible to the public by government, self-imposed, and peer-imposed rules and regulations. The mission of the Heritage Farmstead Museum is to collect, conserve, and explain the history of the Blackland Prairie during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries while making proper use of the authentically restored Farrell-Wilson Farmstead, which is a recognized historic site.
