  Chef Jacques Fox was born in the North African city of "Sidi-Bel-Abbes" and raised in France by his Polish grandparents. Even before graduating from high school, Chef Jacques Fox demonstrated an early aptitude for cooking. Following high school, Chef Jacques enrolled in a two-year program at the College D'Enseignement Techniques in Tulle, France, to further his culinary education. When Chef Jacques graduated from his training program in 1975, he relocated to Paris, where he accepted his first chef position at Maison Prunier, a world-renowned seafood restaurant. In 1976, he joined Elitair Maxims, where he worked for four years before being promoted to executive chef.
