University Club of Portland
1225 SW 6th Ave, Portland, OR 97204, USA- Spaces for 150 Guests
The University Club of Portland traces its roots to 1898, when a group of college alumni founded the club in downtown Portland. Its permanent home, designed by the architectural firm Whidden & Lewis, opened in 1913 and remains the club's clubhouse today, with elegant gathering rooms, rich woodwork, and a dedicated library. That historic Tudor-style clubhouse now serves as a downtown Portland venue for weddings and private events, with a Ballroom, Gold Room, Library, Lobby, and Lounge among the rooms available for ceremonies, receptions, rehearsal dinners, and celebrations. Couples can also arrange a full Clubhouse buyout, reserving every room for exclusive use throughout the day. Wedding catering draws on seasonal ingredients and local partnerships, with menus built around the couple's preferences. Beyond weddings, the Club hosts corporate events, holiday parties, meetings, and retreats, supported by full A/V capabilities including microphones, projectors, streaming, and a Meeting Owl conference camera. The clubhouse pairs its historic character with modern event support, from board meetings in dedicated meeting rooms to galas in the Ballroom.
Voodoo Doughnut Too
1501 NE Davis St, Portland, OR 97232, USA- Spaces for 40 Guests
Voodoo Doughnut Too is the second Portland, Oregon location of Voodoo Doughnut, the doughnut shop founded by Kenneth "Cat Daddy" Pogson and Tres Shannon after they identified a gap in the city's food scene and opened their first storefront in Old Town in 2003. Located on NE Davis Street, this shop carries forward the brand's bold, do-it-yourself approach to hospitality alongside its lineup of over 35 handcrafted doughnut flavors, including a line of vegan options. Beyond doughnuts, Voodoo Doughnut hosts wedding ceremonies right at the shop, offering both legally binding ceremonies and non-legal ceremonies suited to vow renewals or photoshoots. Couples can pair their "I Dough" moment with custom wedding doughnuts, including Newlywed Dolls designed to resemble the couple, oversized doughnut centerpieces, and themed dessert assortments, with orders accommodating groups from 10 to 200-plus guests. Voodoo Doughnut has drawn national media attention over the years, appearing on The Travel Channel, MTV, Good Morning America, and The Tonight Show, among other outlets.

Mt. Tabor Summit sits at the top of Mt. Tabor Park, an extinct volcanic cinder cone in Southeast Portland recognized in 2023 as the first Urban Quiet Park in the United States. The Summit itself is an oval grassy area lined with Douglas firs and ringed by a paved roadway, opening onto views of Mt. Hood and the downtown skyline — a natural, unadorned backdrop for a ceremony or reception. The space accommodates up to 100 guests and is booked through Portland Parks & Recreation as a public-park wedding venue, available for both simple ceremonies and full ceremony-and-reception permits. There is no electricity or water on site, and the Summit is not ADA accessible, so couples typically plan around those constraints with their own equipment and rentals. Mt.
