  The Goldbergs are our surnames. Our family came together in the spring of 2016 to develop this venue with the goal of providing a calm setting for the most wonderful occasions. The structures were framed by brothers. The stained glass was produced by grandparents. Interior touches were put together by siblings, cousins, uncles, significant others, and friends to help bring this idea to life. We believe that the joy you experience with the people you love should be the focus of any celebration, so we're here to take care of some of the logistics. Stillwater Meadow is a wonderful event site in Aledo, Texas, called after the property's delightful pond and lovely meadow. For any wedding party to enjoy, our large site has a gorgeous wedding chapel, a tastefully fitted reception hall, and separate get-ready spaces. Wedding weekends are held at Stillwater Meadow, which provides an idyllic location. All rental packages include full access to a storage area stocked with decor for your usage. The Bridal House features a kitchen, mirrored salon, and expansive front and back porches. The Groom's Retreat is housed in a 1905 barn that has been refurbished. It has a calm ambiance as well as a patio space. Stained glass, mosaic windows, and antique pews adorn our Chapel. This medieval setting is enhanced by an ancient bronze bell and other wooden decorations.   At Barr Mansion we believe in creating a space where every moment is remarkable. We are a wedding and events venue located in the heart of Austin, just northeast of downtown and fifteen minutes from the capital – seven acres of organic gardens, beautiful landscapes, and thoughtfully designed buildings. Barr Mansion captures the essence of contemporary, organic beauty – offering unparalleled settings, full service coordination and exceptional, farm-to-table cuisine. Our tale starts in 1898 when Tilly and William Braxton Barr bought 223 acres of land in Sprinkle, Texas, which contained a post office, churches, a school, and a train station. They then built our historic home for their family to live in. The community remained populated up until the 1930s until being eventually included into the expanding metropolis of Austin. During the century, the Barr family continued to live in the Mansion, but sadly it gradually fell into disrepair. I'd had the desire to restore a historic structure for my entire life, and when I first came across this site in 1981, I felt with all of my heart that it was the appropriate place to do it. When Austin started to learn about and share my love for this hidden jewel, the years of construction and labor that I had invested while raising my own family in the Mansion, transformed into a passionate life in the events sector. I initially prepared all of the food for the visitors myself, but as time went on, professional event staff was employed, and the area gradually grew into the magnificent three buildings and gourmet kitchen where we now host parties. Even though the Mansion has been a steadfast part of Texas history for more than a century, we didn't stop there. We added an 18th-century Artisan Ballroom to the property in 2000, having it brought piece by piece from New York because I knew Austin would enjoy the building's many large glass windows that give visitors the impression that they are outside while inside. When Christopher Columbus first came to America, some of the barn's timbers were still trees, giving the place even more historical significance. The farmhouse, our most recent addition to the property and a contemporary twist on an open-air pavilion, was completed in 2014. It gives visitors even more possibilities to enjoy the expansive grounds and gardens. I am incredibly proud of our history and where we have come from, and I am eager to share my life's work with you.

  Chateau Bellevue is a Victorian-era mansion in downtown Austin, built in 1874 and expanded in 1892 under owner Major Ira Hobart Evans, a Union Army veteran and the youngest Speaker of the Texas House of Representatives. Its stained glass windows and intricate wooden detailing make it one of the last remaining examples of Victorian architecture in the city, and it holds both Texas Historic Landmark (1965) and City of Austin Historic Landmark (1974) status. The venue has been owned and operated by the Austin Woman's Club, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, since 1929. The mansion offers a sequence of spaces for weddings and private events, from the Grand Entryway Foyer with its stained glass and hand-carved woodwork to the Grand Ballroom, which seats up to 175 guests beneath hardwood flooring and a raised stage for a band or DJ. Outdoors, the brick Ceremony Courtyard seats up to 165 guests facing its magnolia tree, or up to 150 facing the Chateau itself, with an adjoining terrace suited to cocktail hour. Limestone entryways and balconies overlooking the downtown skyline offer additional backdrops for photography. The Grand Ballroom is ADA accessible via elevator and includes gray upholstered chairs, with a Chiavari chair upgrade available. Two private getting-ready rooms with separate entrances give wedding parties space to prepare before the ceremony.

  Thistle Hill is the most spectacular cattle baron era estate that has been preserved, and it is also one of the most prominent residential landmarks in Fort Worth. Thistle Hill is a Georgian Revival home that exemplifies the architectural magnificence of Fort Worth's affluent pioneers. The neighborhood where it is located was formerly known as Quality Hill. In the year 1904, Albert Buckman Wharton, Jr. and his wife Electra Waggoner Wharton, who was the daughter of a wealthy cattleman named W.T. Waggoner, moved into this home that was 11,000 square feet and included 18 rooms. The home was remodeled by Sanguinet and Staats in 1911, after Elizabeth and Winfield Scott bought the estate for $90,000 and commissioned them to do so. The original house had been designed by Sanguinet and Staats. The primary bulk of the house is a gambrel-roofed structure that is two and one-half stories tall and has semi-circular bays on either side. The mansion is accentuated by towering chimneys as well as a massive porch that has limestone columns. The roof is covered in glossy green tiles, and the walls are elaborately framed in cast stone. The outside is red brick. The foyer welcomes guests with a grand staircase and abundant woodwork as two of its prominent features. The enclosed gardens of 1.5 acres, which include a magnificent carriage house, have been preserved. In 1975, the home was included in the National Register of Historic Places. In 1977, it was recognized as a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark, and in 1978, it became the first Historic and Cultural Landmark in Fort Worth.

We're less than an hour's drive east of Dallas. Our site can accommodate 250 people and has a huge indoor reception and ceremony area. There is also an outdoor wedding location with a wide covered terrace and a fire pit. Our site provides a bridal suite with a bathroom as well as a grooms suite where the guys can relax before the ceremony. The caterer will be able to set up and cook the food in our catering kitchen.
