    The McKinley Wedding & Event Venue — formerly Eagle Lake Convention Center — is a family-owned barn venue in Central Kentucky, situated on Highway 127 approximately 25 minutes from Lexington and 35 minutes from Louisville. Owners Hannah and Dylan personally restored Lawrenceburg's most well-known barn into the event space, with Dylan handling the structural work and Hannah shaping the interior design. The venue has built its reputation over nearly twenty years of hosting weddings, receptions, corporate events, quinceañeras, anniversaries, proms, and reunions. The barn features original hardwood flooring, white satin ceiling swags, twinkle lights, glass chandeliers, lit trees, low-voltage formal lighting, a 20-foot rock fireplace, and lit pergolas at the entrance — all included in the rental package. Climate control is provided throughout, and three-day rental periods (setup, event, and pickup days) are standard. A dedicated bridal suite and a grooms' room are available on site, along with an outdoor ceremony space and farm grounds for photography. The McKinley places no restrictions on catering or beverage providers and does not require venue insurance policies. Sound equipment is fully accommodated for DJs, bands, and other performers.
