Temescal Beach House is a historic lakeside event venue in Oakland's Temescal Regional Recreation Area, situated along the shores of Lake Temescal near the intersection of Highway 13 and Highway 24. The structure was built by the Works Progress Administration and opened to the public in 1940, originally serving as changing facilities for park visitors and the original headquarters of the East Bay Regional Park District. Today the venue is managed by the East Bay Regional Park District and welcomes weddings, corporate events, holiday parties, fundraisers, and private celebrations. The Beach House offers two connected indoor rooms and a large outdoor flagstone patio.
