Block 41 Bio: Block 41 is one of downtown Seattle’s newest and most unique private event venues. Repurposed from a 1920's ice warehouse, this indoor-outdoor urban chic venue is in the heart of the groovy Belltown neighborhood. Two separate floors combine the best of old and new with leather-wrapped columns, massive old growth timber, exposed brick walls, and vintage car decking merge gracefully with blackened steel, and state-of-the-art building systems. An abundance of windows allows stunning, natural light to flood the space. Rooms and Capacity Upstairs, the Bert & Tot Ballroom is perfectly suited for elegant sit-down dinners, fanciful ceremonies, and dancing the night away. Located on the second floor, the space provides urban views of downtown Seattle. Its interior features beautiful oak floors, brick, and board-formed concrete walls with blackened steel elements throughout. You will also find a fully equipped prep kitchen, ADA-accessible restrooms, a full building sound system, adjustable overhead lighting, and an area complete with stage lighting. The ballroom accommodates 500 standing guests or 350 seated guests and features a private outdoor courtyard. The Outdoor Courtyard is a fully landscaped and private outdoor area featuring LED colorful fence lighting, lush greenery, and wooden decking. Every detail is designed to create an oasis effect right in the middle of the city. The courtyard also doubles as an outdoor event space ideal for up to 50 seated guests or 110 standing guests. The size and backdrop make it perfect for cocktail hours, yard games, food truck, mobile vendors or a sparkler sendoff under the stars. Also included is a "Greetings from Seattle" mural, fabulous for guest photos. On the first floor, the Ewing Theater exudes a more groovy, industrial aesthetic with large storefront windows, and elements of timber and blackened steel throughout. The theater can accommodate 300+ standing or 216 seated guests. With a retractable wall, the theater can be separated into two smaller spaces for the ceremony and a cocktail hour and also has fun details such as eight magnetic stationary panels that are perfect for event branding, donut walls, booth backdrops, appetizer shelves, photo collages and more. The first floor also includes the Green Room, which serves as a prep room or Bridal Suite including a powder room, shower, one sofa, two lounge chairs, a full length mirror, getting-ready backlit mirror and a rack for hanging apparel. Downstairs you will also find a fully equipped prep kitchen and ADA-accessible restroom. Services Offered Block 41 offers an extensive array of services for events and special occasions. Venue rental packages include the use of two preparation kitchens, one loading zone per floor, fully equipped for catering services, four mobile bars, and three ceiling-mounted projectors with drop screens. Additional amenities such as round and banquet tables, black padded folding chairs, adjustable cocktail tables, and an on-site event coordinator are also included. With great pride, AXIS Pioneer Square has preserved 10,000sqft within the historic 1889 Globe Building as Seattle’s most exciting event space. The versatility of AXIS allows us to perfectly accommodate small gatherings all the way up to large events of 550 guests (cocktail style). Despite the fact that our west is no longer the wild and untamed frontier of yesteryear, its difficulties remain genuine, and its environment is still underdeveloped. There is still more to be built in the whiskey industry, and we are positioned now in our common history to embark on our own bold effort. And so we set forth, full of hope and determination, to construct our future and sculpt our Western landscape. Innovativeness is inherent in American Single Malt Whiskey, both in its creation and in its continued presence. Having said that, we don't innovate just for the sake of being innovative. However, we see the chance to offer new ideas to the world of single malt whiskey, and we will continue to be devoted to expressing our provenance. Built in the SoDo neighborhood of downtown Seattle, the 13,000 square-foot building features 40-foot ceilings, exposed original wood beams, and plenty of open space for working and relaxing. A corporation known as Art Marble established a business in 1921 with the goal of providing high-end granite and stone to consumers in the Pacific Northwest, which was the beginning of our restaurant's history. Our restaurant, which was once known as Art Marble Co., was inspired by the period, and we wanted to maintain the building in order to remember its past. One hundred years later, we are happy to keep the original name of one of South Lake Union's oldest structures. The classics and staples of the past are still important to us as we usher in a new millennium of history in the city of Seattle. We also provide our own interpretation of the tastes in order to provide you the greatest flavors we can find. Art Marble 21 is now the top South Lake Union treatment for the Seattle Freeze, and it's easy to see why. Featuring one of the best views in the city, this unusual park is neatly sandwiched into a steep residential area and makes ingenious use of a "difficult" space. From the sloping hillside you have a great view of downtown, Lake Union, the I-5 freeway and Capitol Hill. The park is furnished with benches, a bike rack and a drinking fountain in case you want to stay and gaze a while. It's a great place to watch the July 4th fireworks. From the upper part of the park, you can walk down the steep, ivied hill - passing azaleas, rhododendrons, and more surprise views - to a patch of grass with a play area for kids and a pergola for parents. Her inaugural journey, as a member of the Puget Sound Mosquito Fleet, took place on June 11, 1922, and she arrived in Seattle on June 14, 1922. The Mosquito Fleet was the world's first regional ferry system, linking coastal communities around South Puget Sound in the early twentieth century. It was through steamship that people were carried between the burgeoning port cities of Seattle and Tacoma, as well as produce and cattle from farms on Vashon Island. In the years 1922 to 1938, the VIRGINIA V served as the principal line between Seattle and Tacoma, operating via the West Pass (also known as "Colvos Passage"), which ran between Vashon Island and the Kitsap Peninsula. The S.S. VIRGINIA V is the final operating example of a steamer from the Puget Sound Mosquito Fleet, and it is still in service today.
