Ortega River Club is a private social club in Jacksonville, Florida, with roots going back to 1903. Perched along the banks of the Ortega River, the club offers a warm and character-filled setting for weddings, receptions, and private events — complete with a 110-foot dock and a 71-foot wooden boardwalk along the river's edge. The main event space is a 58-by-50-foot ballroom with a built-in stage and dance floor, comfortably seating 170 guests at round tables, with an additional 20 seats on the covered outdoor patio overlooking the river. Maximum occupancy is 200. Catering is available through the club's in-house caterer, or renters may bring a caterer of their choice — a commercial kitchen is on site for storage and staging. Venue on Lake Lily — formerly known as the Maitland Civic Center — is a nonprofit event venue set on the shores of Lake Lily in Maitland, Florida. Founded in 1965 and funded by community residents rather than local government, it has operated for more than 60 years as an independently run gathering place for Central Florida families, organizations, and businesses. The campus includes three distinct event spaces: the East Wing, suited for banquets and receptions of up to 175 seated guests; the West Wing with Stage, the largest space on the property, accommodating up to 220 seated or 400 standing; and the intimate Rotary Club Room and Bar, ideal for gatherings of up to 32 guests.
