This mansion, built by the family of Mesa's first mayor, Alexander MacDonald, is a sentimental tribute to Mesa's history and antiquity. Alexander passed this house down to his son, James, in keeping with the family history of strong morals. He and his wife had nine children, which was more than enough to occupy the house. The residence was given the name James A. MacDonald House when it applied for the appropriate permissions to build an extension, marking the beginning of its documented history.

The Coconino Center for the Arts (CCA) has been central to Northern Arizona's creative culture since 1984. Situated at 2300 N Fort Valley Rd in Flagstaff — along US 180 en route to the Grand Canyon — the center draws local, regional, and international visitors to its tree-shaded campus and serves as a gathering place for arts, science, and cultural engagement. The facility encompasses a 4,000-square-foot Main Gallery with rotating fine art exhibitions, a 215-square-foot Project Gallery, and an intimate 200-seat Theater suited for live music, theatrical productions, film screenings, workshops, and corporate events. A private conference room accommodates up to 10 for smaller meetings and presentations. Operated by Creative Flagstaff, the center is available for private events including wedding receptions, fundraisers, corporate gatherings, and seminars. Rentals include access to in-house amenities, with catering coordinated through a preferred caterer list and alcohol service available through the venue's liquor license.

In the heart of the Valley of the Sun, you can take in the charm and beauty of Ireland's countryside. The Irish Cultural Center is the ideal location for your wedding reception. Facility rentals are available on campus in the Great Hall (which can accommodate 180 people), the Cottage, our beautiful Courtyard (or Clos), the Norton Board Room, Conference Room, and six sound-proof practice rooms (all of which can accommodate 300 people). The Great Hall is an excellent venue for weddings, dinners, and other social gatherings with a capacity of up to 180 participants. According to the occasion, the Hall is equipped with a Conference Room that can be used for small business or private discussions. The Irish Cottage, built in the mid-19th century, provides a charming setting for meetings, cocktail parties, and training sessions. The Clos, which has a maximum capacity of 300 people, is an excellent venue for outdoor weddings, concerts, and a variety of other occasions. The Library's basement contains a sound-proof meeting room that can accommodate up to 50 people, as well as several sound-proof practice rooms that can be used for interviews, music lessons, and a variety of other activities and events. Our Great Hall can accommodate up to 120 guests, and our Heritage Courtyard can accommodate up to 300 guests in our Heritage Courtyard.
