We prepare and cook our food in innovative and delicious ways, much as generations of pioneers did when they uprooted their lives and pushed for fresh beginnings in the American West a century ago. Our menu, created by James Beard Award semifinalist chef Brian Jupiter, pays homage to the foods that those pioneers ate and hunted while on the road, and we urge you to taste the contemporary day renditions of their fare while you dine. The greatest way to appreciate our meals is in a group environment. To provide you with an outstanding eating experience that is well-paired and well-fueled, we've preserved the early pioneers' enjoyment of family meal gatherings. Our bar offers a diverse selection of domestic and regional craft beers, great wines from across the world, and house-crafted creative cocktails created with only the highest-quality ingredients available. In addition, our comprehensive liquor bar can please even the most ardent cocktail connoisseur. So go ahead and live a little! Foods that you might not have considered trying or those you haven't seen on a menu before. Even if it's only from the comfort of your barstool, reconnect with your pioneering heritage. We gladly foster the Francesca's idea of delicious, simple cooking delivered in a casually sophisticated dining ambiance to our parties. Our semi-private and private dining rooms are perfect for work or social gatherings. Francesca's Restaurant Group, founded in 1992 by restaurateur Scott Harris, has developed from a small, inviting Italian restaurant on Chicago's North Clark Street to a restaurant group with six concepts in 23 locations across two states. Francesca's Restaurants is a neighborhood Trattoria that serves traditional Italian fare in a refined setting. The multi-unit restaurant business retains its dedication to the original restaurant's founding idea of Italian hospitality—where simple food made with quality ingredients and careful service makes a meal—across all formats. Chef Scott Harris never anticipated that his ambition of starting a trattoria-style Italian restaurant on North Clark Street in 1992 would blossom into a successful collection of 23 restaurants across eight themes and two states. Scott Harris Hospitality's 12 Francesca's Restaurants, 4 Fat Rosie's Taco and Tequila Bars, 2 Davanti Enoteca locations, as well as individual locations Disotto, Joe's Imports, Vasili's, Fiore, and Zade's Lounge, are now led by the Chicago native. Harris' philosophy is built on the foundations of true hospitality, where simple cooking, great ingredients, and careful service–always with a dash of fun–combine to create a dinner unforgettable. Chef Jaysen Euler has worked in professional kitchens since he was 14 years old, when he began as a dishwasher at a neighborhood bar and restaurant in Ohio. Euler has worked his way up to Culinary Director at Francesca's Restaurant Group, touching every facet of what a professional kitchen has to offer — dish pit, prep, sauté, veg, and beyond (FRG).

The refinement of the Gold Coast district is reflected in this Art Deco apartment complex and its lobby bar. After 75 years, we've brushed it off and reopened it to the public as The Sparrow, the original establishment. Originally intended as a nightcap or late-night rendezvous spot for residents, the bartenders here have been privy to private conversations, thereby becoming the building's concierge. We accept everyone and don't feel the need to show off. Logistics: - All visitors must be at least 21 years old. - The location is wheelchair accessible. - There is no available outside space. - Parking is available on the street. - Decorations are permitted if negotiated at the time of booking. - A fully stocked bar Buyouts and smaller pieces with a minimum party size of 10 are available. - A contract, a 25% payment, and a pre-authorized credit card are required for buyouts and section reservations. - Deposits are not refundable unless the event is less than 30 days away. This isn't your typical rental property. • Spaces for 500 Guests

Hawthorne Race Course has served as Chicago's hometown track since 1891, making it the oldest sporting venue in Illinois. The fourth-generation family-owned facility sits in Stickney, just outside Chicago, and holds a distinction no other track in the country can claim: it is the only race course that hosts both Thoroughbred and Standardbred racing under the same roof. The main venue accommodates group events alongside live racing on Thursdays and Sundays, offering guests the backdrop of an active track with multiple large-screen viewing areas and food and beverage service throughout. For groups, the combination of live racing atmosphere and on-site dining creates an experience that goes well beyond a typical event space. A network of off-track betting bars and multiple sportsbook locations round out the broader Hawthorne footprint across Chicagoland, but the Stickney track remains the heart of the operation — a working venue with more than 130 years of racing history still running.

    Club Lucky

1824 W Wabansia Ave, Chicago, IL 60622, USA
    • Spaces for 45-250 Guests

Club Lucky is the most popular restaurant in Bucktown/Wicker Park, specializing on traditional Italian cuisine served in a family-style setting. The interior is inspired by a 1940s dinner club, a one-of-a-kind cocktail lounge, and a private dining room on the edge of becoming a 1950s speakeasy. With everything from the vintage martini shaker collection to the big tables and booths to the cozy lighting, you and your friends will feel right at home. There are several solutions available to meet your preferences as well as your financial constraints. We recommend a meal that includes an Appetizer, Salad, Pasta Entrée, House Specialty Entrée, and Dessert. We will, however, make every attempt to accommodate any unique requests you may have or to create a menu just for your occasion. Although the ambiance is informal, the meals are substantial, and the pricing are affordable. For anyone arranging a lunch or dinner gathering in the Chicago region, Club Lucky is an excellent choice. In addition to being conveniently located off the Kennedy Expressway (just 5 blocks west on North Avenue), we are only minutes away from the Loop & Downtown Hotels. Club Lucky is available for private party buy outs of the whole restaurant for events taking place on Saturday and Sunday throughout the afternoon.

    Mundano

    1935 N Lincoln Park W, Chicago, IL 60614, USA

The name "Mundano" comes from the Spanish word "worldly," which Chef Ross Henke considered when creating the cuisine. Henke plans to rely on his recognized experience with Latin American cuisine, but he'll focus on the New American style, merging a range of inspirations and culinary techniques to create flavors that are both stunning and memorable. Mundano is a true neighborhood restaurant, located on a quiet street in Chicago's gorgeous Lincoln Park—though we feel neighborhood refers to sentiment more than a physical location. We believe that value is created via the experience, which is derived not just from our upgraded food and beverage program, but also from our staff and the positive, forward-thinking culture we are cultivating together. We hope you'll feel completely at home in our four walls, surrounded by the warmth and acceptance we've created, and inspired by our menu, which combines a variety of inspirations and cooking techniques to create flavors that are both stunning and memorable.
