Originally constructed in 1905 as horse stables, the structure was later converted into the clubhouse for the golf course that once occupied the park. To honor its heritage, we’ve preserved the Stone Mountain granite walls, ivy-covered windows, and traditional wooden plank walls. Whether you're planning a classic, formal plated lunch or a more casual, mix-and-mingle event with interactive food stations, we offer the perfect menu to suit your occasion. The Piedmont Room, which was constructed in 1928, was originally used as the clubhouse for the golf course that was located inside Piedmont Park. It now serves as a venue for some of Atlanta's most famous events. The foyer's original Stone Mountain granite walls and ivy-covered windows have been preserved, but the main room has a contemporary vibe thanks to towering windows, dark bamboo hardwoods, and ceilings that are 15 feet or higher. The venue rental includes ivory table linens, gold Chiavari chairs with ivory cushions, votive candles, up-lighting, and complimentary self-parking for guests. Additional fees may apply. The Piedmont Room is ideal for gatherings of 50 to over 200 guests.

Purchased by an Atlanta couple from the family estate after the youngest daughter Cara’s death in 1996, the home was a small bed and breakfast for some years. In 2007, Barb Shadomy purchased Stonehurst after discovering it while in England studying interior and garden design. For 17 months, Barb and her team of architects and contractors, specialists in historic and eco-friendly systems, renovated and restored the home and its gardens. The house meets standards set by the US National Park Service, the GA State Historic Preservation Office, Southface and EarthCraft House. Our historic property features beautiful indoor and outdoor locations for intimate ceremonies and receptions including our music room by the grand piano and fireplace or outside by the pavilion.

The venue is composed of 2 levels of open event space as well a large outdoor courtyard. The main room is 3,600 square feet of chic industrial space with pristine hardwood floors in a chevron pattern. The walls are antique brick with three sides of expansive windows. A tall curved pine ceiling is finished by two ornate iron chandeliers. Take the elevator or the stairs to the lower level where we have an additional 3,600 square feet of event space that includes a furnished lounge area and a beautiful built-in bar. The Biltmore Hotel, which opened its doors in 1924 and served as the center of Atlanta's business and social life for over sixty years. This magnificent landmark was created by the architecture company Shultze and Weaver, which is also responsible for such iconic hotels as The Breakers in Palm Beach, the Waldorf-Astoria in New York, The Pierre, and The Sherry Netherland in Amsterdam. It was formerly referred to as "The South's Supreme Hotel," but the Biltmore was forced to lock its doors in 1982 after a change in ownership and several years of continuous deterioration. When The Biltmore underwent a complete makeover in 1999, it was the result of sixteen years of neglect and abandonment. The result was a combination of Class A office space and retail space, as well as a unique event area. The reconstruction of the Georgian and Imperial Ballrooms, which are now listed on the National Register of Historic Places, allowed The Biltmore to swiftly reclaim its position as one of Atlanta's social and commercial hotspots.
