Puritan Chemical Company built and operated The Foundry at Puritan Mill, which opened its doors in 1921 and is still in operation today. A variety of cleaning goods, including Puritan soap, were created and stored in the facility until they were sent out through the nearby Atlantic Coast Line Railroad. It was here that Puritan Chemical Company's Atlanta headquarters was located from 1946 to 1996. The property was bought by Urban Realty Partners and Weaver & Woodbery Company in 2000 with the intention of restoring it and converting it into a mixed-use site. The Foundry, with its 12,000 square feet of floor area, is a wonderfully striking and adaptable event venue. Guardian Works is the Event Space at Echo Street West, will be a exclusive and unique offering in Atlanta’s events scene. The renovated 1908 brick and beam building features 8,000 square ft of double-height conditioned interior event space, 4,000 square ft of covered patio space, and an adjoining 10,000 square ft courtyard in front. The space is operated by Novare Events, Atlanta’s premier events company, and is sure to be a must-see venue for all kinds of gatherings including weddings, city wides, festivals, large cocktail, as well as others with the use of the entirety of the space. CAPACITY & RATES The maximum capacity of Guardian Works may vary from below as it is dependent on seating requirements, dance floor size, catering needs, and audio & visual needs. A uniform and linen factory transformed into a spacious event space. Since 1994, we have operated as a family-owned company. I grew up with my parents who owned and ran a uniform and linen firm that is still in business now. When they launched a linen rental business in downtown Chamblee in 2001, they catered to some of the most elite clientele in the greater Atlanta region. From Turner Field to Bacchanalia, we learnt all about the ins and outs of being gracious in the hospitality business. In 2016, we sold the company, and in 2017, we renamed the space Factory Atlanta to reflect the new ownership. Ideally, we would like to collaborate with people who have a clear picture in mind for their project, their special day, or their milestone event. The Showroom is 2400 square feet and can accommodate events of up to 100 people. The glass garage door provides views of the spectacular railroad lines in the back and has enough space to accommodate a truck or a car. A lasting impression on your guests will be created by the Showroom. The Factory Floor provides you with 5600 square feet of creative flexibility. Because of the concrete flooring and 18-foot ceilings, you may design a really unique experience to your needs. You may let your creativity run wild when you have the Showroom at your disposal.

The Historic DeKalb Courthouse is the ideal location for wedding ceremonies, receptions, rehearsal dinners, holiday parties, fundraisers, and other special events of all kinds. This beautiful courthouse, located in Decatur, Georgia, just minutes away from Atlanta, serves as a spectacular backdrop for any historic event. With stunning arched windows and marble walls, the main event area is a sight to behold. A total of 150 guests may be accommodated at tables in the venue, which has lots of natural light and hardwood floors. A cocktail hour or a check-in area can be held in the lobby of the hotel. The Historic DeKalb Courthouse, which is located in Decatur, Georgia, only minutes away from Atlanta, is the ideal location for wedding ceremonies, receptions, rehearsal dinners, holiday parties, fund-raisers, and other special events. You will have the perfect setting for your historic event with the marble walls and wonderfully arched windows. During all evening and weekend rentals, guests will have access to the Courtroom, Harrison Room, Lobby, Groom's Room, and Bridal Suite for a total of 8 hours. The first two hours are usually devoted to setup, while the last hour is devoted to cleaning. The remaining 5 hours can be utilized for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and/or reception, according on your preferences. The ceremony and reception are both held in the Courtroom, and there is usually a room flip as guests enjoy cocktail hour in the lobby before the wedding. Most of the time, renters employ one of our Preferred Caterers to set up, flip, dismantle, and clean up after the event.
