The McGill Rose Garden is a historic outdoor wedding and event venue on the edge of Charlotte's NoDa Arts District. The garden traces its origins to the 1950s, when Helen McGill began planting rose bushes along the fence line of the Avant Fuel and Ice Company her husband Henry had purchased. By the time the garden opened to the public on Mother's Day 1967, it had grown to include more than 500 rose bushes across two acres. Today the property is a City of Charlotte municipal park, and Rosie's Coffee & Wine — operating from the on-site brick building since 2019 — manages event bookings and offers a café and wine bar experience within the garden setting. The venue hosts intimate weddings and private events for up to 100 guests on Saturdays from late April through early November. Farm tables and chairs are included with rental, and the venue maintains partnerships with a network of vetted vendors to support couples through the planning process.

The Morehead Inn is a historic estate in Charlotte's Dilworth neighborhood, built in 1917 by architect William Peeps and recognized today as one of the area's landmark properties. Following renovation in 1995, the inn operates as a boutique bed and breakfast and all-inclusive private event venue, set among mature gardens just minutes from Uptown Charlotte. The property features 12 individually appointed guest rooms and suites, a four-bedroom carriage house, period antiques, and fireplaces throughout. Its event spaces, set within the gracious estate and surrounding gardens, accommodate weddings, corporate meetings, baby celebrations, and custom gatherings of various sizes. All catering, beverage, and rental services are provided through an exclusive partnership with Something Classic Catering, with menus tailored to each event. On-site accommodations allow wedding parties and other groups to reserve the property for the full celebration experience.

Catawba Brewing Company is a craft brewery whose roots run deep in the mountains and rivers of western North Carolina, taking its name from the Catawba River near where it sold its first keg of beer in Asheville in 1999. Its South Slope taproom, at 32 Banks Avenue in the heart of Asheville's craft-beer district, pours the brewery's approachable flagships alongside the small-batch, community-inspired beers Catawba is known for. The taproom is deliberately unpretentious — a come-as-you-are spot built around good beer, good people, and good times. Guests are welcome to bring the family and the dog, settle in with a board game, catch some live music, or simply relax over a pour from the tap wall. That easygoing setting lends itself to gatherings of all kinds, and the brewery welcomes inquiries for private events as well as music bookings. This 1929 structure, formerly known as the Nebel Knitting Mill, still exudes its vintage beauty despite the neighborhood's expansion over time. Cotton mill-style windows, contemporary lighting, and exposed masonry are just a few of the elements that give Byron's South End its distinctive character. This location is perfect for any event because of its opulent surroundings and exciting historic area. Byron's South End can accommodate a variety of event designs and layouts for wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners, corporate parties, and more thanks to its open floor plan. Best Impressions Caterers is the proprietor of Byron's South End. Best Impressions, a full-service caterer, will make arrangements for all food and beverage services as well as any additional equipment required inside the venue. Vin Master Wine Shop is a wine bar and retail shop housed in an urban loft at Atherton Mills on South Blvd in Charlotte, North Carolina. Guests can enjoy wine by the glass, or explore the bar's flight program, which offers two to three selections for side-by-side tasting. The shop carries more than 100 retail wines, with staff available to open any bottle for in-venue enjoyment. Weather permitting, additional seating on the patio offers views of uptown Charlotte and the Southend neighborhood. For private occasions, Vin Master accommodates a range of events — from small gatherings and sommelier-led tasting parties to fully catered affairs. Once a month, the shop hosts a wine dinner series, converting the retail space into a dining venue by partnering with a food truck to provide a multi-course menu alongside the evening's wine selection.

Queens University of Charlotte occupies a tree-lined campus in Charlotte's Myers Park Historic District, offering more than 20 distinct venues for weddings, corporate events, conferences, and performing arts occasions. The setting — defined by historic architecture, manicured grounds, and proximity to Uptown Charlotte and SouthPark — has made the campus a sought-after backdrop for celebrations of all kinds. Belk Chapel anchors the wedding program: a non-denominational sanctuary that has hosted thousands of ceremonies since opening in 1950, featuring natural light and an adjoining rotunda for guest arrivals. Nearby, the McInnes Parlors in historic Queens Hall and the adjacent Hall Brown Terrace accommodate up to 200 guests for cocktail receptions and intimate gatherings. For larger receptions, the Young Dining Hall hosts up to 230 guests seasonally from May through August, while the Sandra Levine Theatre — a 996-seat performance venue within the Sarah Belk Gambrell Center — brings a dramatic scale to formal events and galas. The Conference and Event Services team coordinates all bookings, and in-house catering is provided exclusively through Carved & Crafted.

Our award-winning whiskey is maturing in barrels that line our private event space. The speakeasy atmosphere and the prominence of our own aging whiskey barrels have gotten rave reviews from our visitors. Any whiskey enthusiast would be greatly attracted to the space's aesthetic. We can either cater any event ourselves or, for a small fee, hire a caterer from outside our business. The number of bartenders included in your room rate depends on the number of people in your party. Access to our entire barrel room privately, complete with a full-service bar and a Smart TV for sharing presentations and slideshows! Leather chairs and couches with cushions are available in The Barrel Room. In addition to beer and wine, a full bar is available with craft cocktails showcasing our handcrafted spirits. Ovens Auditorium is Charlotte's largest performing arts theater, part of the Bojangles Entertainment Complex on East Independence Boulevard. Named in honor of David Ovens, a civic leader central to the complex's founding, the venue has hosted concerts, Broadway productions, comedy shows, family events, and symphony performances since 1955 — and is consistently recognized on Pollstar's Top 200 Theatre Venues Worldwide list. The main house seats 2,447 guests across orchestra, mezzanine, and balcony levels. For private gatherings, the auditorium offers dedicated event spaces with in-house food, beverage, and catering. On-site event managers coordinate setup and custom furniture arrangements. Opened in 2010 and designed by Pei, Cobb Freed & Partners — whose steel curves and slopes echo the shape of a racing oval — the building connects directly to the Charlotte Convention Center and can accommodate groups ranging from 10 to 2,400 guests across several distinct spaces. At the heart of the facility, the Great Hall places events against the backdrop of Glory Road, a display of 18 iconic NASCAR stock cars. The flexible floor plan supports everything from luncheons with keynote speakers to evening receptions with a band or DJ. The Hall of Honor, where NASCAR's inductees are officially enshrined, provides a more intimate setting for VIP dinners and exclusive receptions.
