Our 2400 square foot historical barn, which is situated on sixteen tranquil acres, provides space for a band, dancing, and dining. Barn seating for up to 130 people, and a tent site with seating for up to 250 people is available for groups larger than 130. The location looks out over a lovely pond surrounded by open fields and marshes. Historic structures that have been specially repaired set amidst lovely perennial gardens. Flint Golf Club is a private club with more than a century of history in Flint, Michigan. Founded in 1910 by a group that included automotive industry luminaries — among them William C. Durant, a co-founder of General Motors, Walter Chrysler, and Charles Stewart Mott — the club moved to its current home on Lakewood Drive and opened its new clubhouse on July 1, 1919. The 18-hole championship course was laid out by Willie Park Jr., a two-time British Open champion who designed more than 100 courses across the United States. While the club's core membership services center on golf, swimming, and year-round social programming, Flint Golf Club opens its facilities to outside guests for private events. Indoor and outdoor spaces accommodate gatherings from small meetings to receptions of up to 300 guests, most with views of the golf course or grounds. The Ford Avenue Piquette Plant was built in 1904 by the fledgling Ford Motor Company. It was here that Henry Ford would produce several car models- including his most famous automobile- the Model T. Once outside the plant's walls, the Model T started a revolution that would put the world on wheels. OUR ORGANIZATION The Model-T Automotive Heritage Complex, Inc., (doing business as) the Ford Piquette Avenue Plant, was organized in 2000 as a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization for the purpose of preserving the Plant and keeping it from being demolished. Open year round as a Museum and education center, the plant now attracts visitors from around the world. It provides special programs and events for bus tours, families, and scores of people attending public and private events from car shows to weddings. The Ford Piquette Avenue Plant (FPAP) is managed by a Board of Trustees and volunteer committees. The historic site is financially self-supported. It is not affiliated with Ford Motor Company or Ford Foundation.

After the successful campaign to legalize medical cannabis in 2008, activist attorney Matthew Abel purchased the building in Detroit's Rivertown District as a home for Cannabis Counsel® Law Firm, the oldest and first cannabis only law firm in the country.
