The Houdini Estate®, built in the Edwardian manner in the early 1900s, still contains its caverns, underground passages, terraced gardens, and a deep-water tank where he performed his illusions. According to legend, Harry Houdini trained his underwater escapes. The remote home served as the ideal refuge for America's first action hero, Captain America. For the last few years of his life, Houdini utilized the estate's pool to rehearse his incredible feats of escape and deception. He died in the pool in 1926. The property where Houdini's wife, Bess, hosted a memorable party for 500 magicians and lived for ten years after her husband's death still carries the enchantment and mystery of "The Handcuff King." The estate and its gardens have been rebuilt, and visitors may now take use of modern conveniences while still experiencing the grandeur and wonder of Harry Handcuffs Houdini.

CYPRESS HALL Chandelier lighting, floor-to-ceiling windows, and crisp white walls provide the perfect canvas for your custom, tailored reception. The Cypress Hall is our largest indoor space and can be easily personalized to suit your needs. The Courtyard neighbors the Cypress Hall and is often used as a cocktail hour space for larger events. SYCAMORE RESTAURANT The Sycamore Room shows a refined elegance with a casual Californian lifestyle to match. Surrounded with historical images of the Club's past, there are endless pieces to gaze at. Cozy chairs and tables are already set up, but banquet tables and chairs can be brought in per request. OAK GROVE Our newest event space nestled under an old oak tree will give your event a natural charm. Views of the Golf Course will be enjoyed by all. With a fireplace, fountain and gorgeous views, this space is lovely in any season. It borders the Cypress Hall, so your guests can easily move between the two spaces.

Our goal is to exceed your guests' expectations and to create an event that will be remembered fondly. Our patio has heated floors as well as a retractable awning and weather-proof roof, making it ideal for hosting a beautiful event in any season. Private Dining Room "Indigo" can accommodate up to 30 people for a seated dinner and 40 people for a cocktail reception. South Patio: seating for up to 60 people for dinner and up to 80 people for a cocktail reception The entire patio can accommodate up to 120 people for a seated dinner and 160 people for a cocktail reception. The entire restaurant can accommodate up to 160 people for a seated dinner and 250 people for a cocktail reception. We have multi-course menus ranging from $85 to $125 per person, plus beverages. For larger events, a restaurant buyout requires a food and beverage minimum of $17,500 - $25,000 (plus service charge and sales tax), with the amount varying depending on the season, the size of the party, and the day of the week. A Friday rehearsal dinner or a Saturday wedding (in the late spring or early fall) are both very popular choices for couples. Our guests are not charged any room fees, location fees, or rental fees for any of the services that a restaurant would normally provide. Valet parking is available for a fee of $10 per car.
