Your rental of the Dockmaster Building comes with additional outdoor pier space - ideal for ceremonies and cocktail hours; and some of the best photo spots on the property. District Pier, which extends 450 feet into the Washington Channel, is one of The Wharf's most important outdoor gathering places, hosting a variety of exciting regional festivals, international celebrations, and whimsical holiday happenings throughout the year. It is possible to rent out the entire pier—8,000 square feet of rentable outdoor space with a standing capacity of 2,000 people—or just a portion of it for a variety of private events. The pier is tentable, and does cause capacity numbers to change when tented.
