From start to finish, we pride ourselves on being very hands-on with each event. Everyone has a particular vision for their wedding day, and it is our honest wish to assist each couple in making their vision a magical reality. Our farm is only 12 miles from I-85 and the Tanger Outlet Center in Commerce, as well as 16 miles from downtown Athens. Our 8,000 square foot climate-controlled main building features a spacious bridal suite with make-up counters and private restroom, a groom's suite, a prep kitchen for caterers to warm and plate food, an open concept banquet hall that can accommodate up to 225 guests for a sit-down dinner with plenty of room for your dance floor and DJ, a grand indoor and outdoor stone fireplace, and a cover charge. In addition to the main building, the grounds at Grant Hill Farm include a 4,000 square foot open air barn. Fans, a beautiful chandelier, a bar, and two floors of event space with a wrap-around balcony can be found in the all-wood barn. The ceilings are coated in salvaged tin and the walls are composed of ancient doors from a 1920s hotel, giving a rustic and relaxing ambiance. The barn also has 14-foot-wide barn doors, a large screened-in porch, and an upper deck with a view of Lake Garvey. Outdoor ceremonies can be held on a large lawn with gorgeous pines as a backdrop. Weddings and other social events can be held at the Peach Barn at TimberMill Acres. The Variety Works is a historic event venue in Madison, Georgia, originally constructed in the 1870s as a manufacturing facility and thoughtfully restored to serve as a one-of-a-kind gathering space. Because Mr. Mauldin was constructing the building out of granite from Stone Mountain, it was the talk of the town while it was under construction. The residents of the town questioned if a structure composed of such material could possibly last. It's been called The Langley General Store, The Mercantile Exchange, A Feed and Seed Company, the Grinder, and the Goldkist Building over the years. Our venue, which first opened its doors in 2008, was designed exclusively for unique gatherings. The high ceilings of 100-year-old rough-hewn wood, archways, chandeliers, furnishings, and attention to detail preserve and maintain the authenticity and charm of the turn of the century. 550 Trackside was built in 1904 as a Cotton Warehouse and is made of Stone Mountain granite. Southern Bridle Farms is a wedding and event venue set on a quiet country property near Perry, Georgia, accessible off Highway 96 just three miles from Interstate 75. Founded in 2012 by two families who set out to build the space they couldn't find elsewhere, the property was designed from the ground up to accommodate gatherings of virtually any size under one roof. The centerpiece of the farm is The Cedar Barn — a 10,000-square-foot structure built in the tradition of old Southern barn design using hand-selected cedar and pine logged and milled locally. Inside, 36-foot ceilings rise above 8x8 support beams, three grand chandeliers, and large sliding barn doors that open onto the surrounding grounds. The barn accommodates 500 or more guests for receptions and large celebrations. The Crescent Farm Historical Center, often known as the Rock Barn, is a beloved Cherokee County landmark built by Augustus Lee Coggins in 1906.
