Our Clubhouse has a climate-controlled capacity of 280 people and is furnished with tables and chiavari chairs, as well as Groom and Bridal suites, among other amenities. When you make a reservation with us, you and your guests will have exclusive access to the clubhouse and grounds of Lion Hills Resort and Country Club. There will be no multiple bookings here! We are conveniently located two miles off of I-20 in Bremen, Georgia, less than an hour west of the Atlanta metropolitan area. The majority of the amenities you'd expect are within a mile of our site, including 12 restaurants, 150 hotel rooms, and two full-service supermarkets. Lion Hills Vineyard is now in the process of being planted with 800 Blanc des Bois vines and 1000 Lenoir vines in the spring of 2018. Some of the best wines we've ever tasted come from these varietals, which are particularly well-suited to the Southern environment. Before Prohibition, West Georgia was renowned as "the Napa Valley of the East," and more than 20,000 acres of wine grapes were planted there before the Great Depression. Wesleyan College occupies a 200-acre wooded campus in north Macon, Georgia, on the National Register of Historic Places, built around a central quadrangle of Georgian Revival architecture that traces to 1928. Founded in 1836 as Georgia Female College, Wesleyan holds the distinction of being the first college in the world chartered to grant degrees to women — a history that gives the campus its particular character as a setting for celebrations. For private events, the college offers an unusually varied collection of spaces: Anderson Dining Hall seats up to 350 beneath a vaulted ceiling with large arched windows; the grand Porter Auditorium accommodates 1,124 for concerts, ceremonies, and theatrical productions; Oval Hall in the Candler Alumnae Building brings ornate moldings and parquet flooring to receptions and luncheons for up to 250; and Pierce Chapel, opened in 2015 on a knoll overlooking Foster Lake, seats approximately 300 for weddings and memorial services, with a lower-level reception area for around 70. Reunion Country Club is a full-service golf and event facility set on a championship par 72 course in Hoschton, Georgia, less than five miles from I-85. Designed by Michael Riley, the course plays from 5,004 to 6,936 yards across dramatic elevation changes with views of the surrounding North Atlanta landscape. The Barn at Tatum Acres is a 75-acre farm venue tucked into the North Georgia mountains near Big Canoe, about an hour from downtown Atlanta. The property began as a family farm — Doug Tatum famously closed the deal on a napkin with a one-dollar bill — and was transformed into an event destination under the creative direction of interior designer Lynda Tatum, who designed the barn using timber harvested from the land itself. The centerpiece is a rustic-modern red barn with white trim, built from trees felled on the farm, that blends authenticity with a polished aesthetic. Building the first component of what would eventually become Naylor Hall for H.W. Proudfoot and his wife, Euphemia, in the 1840s, Barrington King designed it as a four-room clapboard house with a central fireplace, which was later expanded. Mr. Proudfoot was engaged as an accountant by Mr. King, the son of the city of Roswell's founder, in his recently constructed Roswell Mills facility. Colonel Harrison Broadwell acquired the property in the late 1930s and renamed it Naylor Hall in honor of his wife's family, which is still the name of the building today. Aside from that, he made a number of changes that may still be seen today, including the columns, carved woodwork, and a portico that wraps around the original structure. Naylor Hall is still making history today, well into the twenty-first century, with each and every event that takes place on Canton Street. Lady Naylor Hall, who is 170 years old and a southern beauty, has had her tummy tucked and her thighs tucked in order to greet the millennium.
