La Taverna, a charming restaurant and bar in Siena, Italy, served as a major source of inspiration for DineAmic Hospitality owners Lucas Stoioff and David Rekhson when they were developing Siena Tavern. The inspiration led to a more polished and expansive version suitable for River North. However, Stoioff and Rekhson still yearned for an Italian bar and restaurant that was more in keeping with their original concept in terms of size and liveliness. Bar Siena was established in Chicago's Fulton Market - West Loop district three years later. A second Bar Siena in Skokie's Westfield Old Orchard Mall was established in 2022. Indigo & Violet Studio is a Chicago-based venue for craft workshops, parties, and events, focusing on unique and modern handmade projects taught in a relaxed studio environment. Our mission is to provide a creative outlet to both novice and experienced crafters. We work in a variety of mediums and no matter the project, our goal is for all guests to leave with a new sense of pride along with their beautifully hand-crafted piece. To help get the creative juices flowing, all events are BYOB. We are a unique and creative venue for celebrations like Baby Showers, Bridal Showers, Bachelorette Parties, Birthdays, and Team Activities. Located in the Gold Coast, near the Clark/division red line. The building is a historic landmark known as the Fisher Studio Houses, and is a pre-WWII building. The space is Art Moderne style with Edgar Miller paintings on the windows. Space Details: - 1400 square feet - Seating Capacity = 16 - Access to Full Kitchen - Free Coffee - 2.5 Bathrooms - Speaker System - Fireplace Use - Washer/Dryer Use - Red Line is one block away - BYOB allowed - Outside food is allowed The property was built in 1936 and designed by Andrew Rebori. The space has quartz counter tops, and unique white glass subway tiles that offer modernism with antique undertones, plus a spiraled staircase. Features curved walls, with glass block windows. There's also an outdoor courtyard with seating. It is located a few blocks from North Ave beach and Oak Street beach plus the restaurants and shopping of the Gold Coast. There's also a Jewel Osco that's about a five minute walk away. In the mid-1930s, Frank J. Fisher, a Marshall Field’s executive, commissioned the architect Andrew Rebori to design a residential property that would also generate some income. Rebori recruited the muralist and craftsman Edgar Millerto help detail the spaces with stained glass and other finishes. This is an ideal space for small gatherings and professional events. Siegel's Cottonwood Farm is a traditional picturesque farm setting that will make your celebration charming and unique. The BARN at Cottonwood is now booking dates from April 1st through Mid September. Due to our Annual Pumpkin Fest & Adult Haunted House, we cannot accommodate private weddings during the months of late September and October. At special request, we can accommodate a November wedding, however the property will be unavailable for weddings from the months of December through March. We are proud to offer you a beautiful, brand new Amish built Timber Frame Barn to host your special day in. The BARN at COTTONWOOD will hold 250 guests. We believe great food is born from the best ingredients. The cooking process begins with many questions and informed decisions. Which farm? What are the farming practices? Which breed of animal? Where are the fish from and how were they caught and handled? Which variety of sea salt is best for each dish? What type of oil? Two wonderful friends and hospitality veterans spotted an opportunity to bring their beloved bar and comfort food to the up-and-coming Wicker Park neighborhood more than ten years ago. The Fifty/50 debuted to the public on March 20th, 2008, promising pleasant service, amazing food, and a wild bar atmosphere. The Fifty/50, a Wicker Park dining and nightlife pioneer, continues to set the standard for neighborhood restaurants and luxury sports bars nationwide. Since 2008, the Fifty/50 has won numerous honors, including "Best Sports Bar in America" (Yahoo, Thrillist) and "Best Wings in Chicago" (WGN, Chicago Tribune, Metromix). We continue to raise the bar and seek to push the boundaries on chef-driven, scratch-made bar cuisine, thanks to a recent expansion and makeover in late 2016. In Chicago's Wicker Park area, The Fifty/50 is a full-service restaurant and bar. Cocktail parties, business functions, birthdays, and any other type of event where people are letting loose and having a wonderful time are among our specialties. There are three stories, each with its own bar and different feel and attitude. The Sky Box level is a private area with views of the main floor that can accommodate up to 50 people for a cocktail reception or seated meal. The Dugout has plush seats and a private DJ booth, as well as a large downstairs bar and a big party vibe. All of these areas can be rented out for private events at any time of day or night! Chicago Theater Works is available for rental and is the perfect venue for a unique event. We love parties, fundraisers, film screenings, wedding receptions, corporate off-site and more… Our facility can accommodate up to 180 for a sit-down dinner, play, recital, screening… to 200+ for a stand-up reception. ​ Furnishings: We have 220 black banquet chairs, six 24” rounds, twenty 48” rounds, six 60” rounds, a buffet table and several 6’ tables and two high-tops. We also have six sections of 12’ pipe with black drape. ​ Food and Beverage: Northshore Catering is our in-house caterer and they are amazing. You are welcome to work with them or bring in your own food. For catering we have a staging kitchen with 3-compartment sink, commercial refrigerator, ice maker, convection oven, microwave and stainless prep table. There is an extra charge for using the kitchen. We require that all beverage be purchased through our full bar. Our prices range from $3 for soft drinks, $6 to 8 for beer, $7 to 9 for spirits and $6 to 9 for wine. We can do a host bar or cash or credit for guests. Sound, Lights, Stage and Tech: The space features a 16’ x 10’ stage with a simple light plot, board and spotlight. We have video projection capabilities and a wide format screen. We also have several wired and wireless microphones and a plug in play sound system. The venue also has wifi. Depending on the extent of your tech needs there may be an extra charge to have our tech person on-site. Location: We are located in Lakeview on Belmont between Sheffield and Racine. We are two blocks east of the Red, Brown and Purple lines. We are also on multiple 27/7 bus routes. A nearby parking lot is available for an extra charge. The venue has two large bathrooms and two private, unisex bathrooms. There is also a dressing room with iron, steamer, washer and dryer. We always have a staff member and, if needed, bartender available for your event.

The home features a wood burning fireplace in the parlor, upstairs bathroom and prep suite, full working kitchen, main floor powder room, and a backyard porch smoking section. The seasonal garden is amazing with flowers and fruit trees and has a honeysuckle archway that blooms June 1st, a standing garden wedding arch, wood burning fireplace and brick patio with pond. Easy public transportation to and from Chicago, or an easy drive out on I90. This is the historic home and garden of Rev Pamela, who opened her manor to the public in 2011 as a small wedding venue and elopement chapel. The private event space is perfect for groups up to 30 guests, and boasts of all 5 star reviews. The space is not appropriate for children's parties, but we love baby showers, anniversaries, adult birthday parties, etc. and offer a simple rental agreement.
