Since 1972, Gorton has been proud to enrich the lives of residents through cultural arts, education and charitable service. Today, Gorton is one of only a few privately-funded community centers in the United States and serves as a unique partnership between community volunteers and The City of Lake Forest. Gorton Community Center, a private nonprofit 501c3 organization, relies on the generosity of area residents and business to support building improvements, programs and services which are offered in the historic building owned by the City of Lake Forest.

We believe great food is born from the best ingredients. The cooking process begins with many questions and informed decisions. Which farm? What are the farming practices? Which breed of animal? Where are the fish from and how were they caught and handled? Which variety of sea salt is best for each dish? What type of oil? This elegant 11,550 sqft estate is will be a wonderful location for your intimate event, photo shoot, or film shoot. A great 4 bedroom estate with high ceilings, fireplaces, chandeliers, and great southern exposed light. The home has a full gourmet kitchen your caterer will love and dining rooms that can seat 40 people. The space has an indoor lap pool, dry/wet sauna and an imported bar. Outside has a lush acre yard with outdoor patio and a small intimate gazebo perfect for wedding ceremonies or pictures. Basement has a dance floor and full theater room great for family nights in.

Our venue is a 17,000 sq ft 5 story Pyramid House surrounded by a 28 ft deep moat. Inside the Pyramid the first floor will be available for rent with new construction. Approx 1600 sq ft. Outside we have a 4000 sq ft heated tent with a fully stocked bar and newly constructed bathrooms.

La Taverna, a charming restaurant and bar in Siena, Italy, served as a major source of inspiration for DineAmic Hospitality owners Lucas Stoioff and David Rekhson when they were developing Siena Tavern.
