Our special events and parties consultant is available to help you arrange your special occasion from start to finish. GENERAL INFORMATION Several points of interest are listed below. Above all, we recognize that this is YOUR party, YOUR occasion, and YOUR meal. We will go above and above to fulfill your unique requirements and exceed your expectations. Our top priority is your satisfaction. SERVICE Individually plated lunch and dinners are provided, as well as a family type alternative. Everyone will enjoy a selection of things from one of our family style meals. FEES FOR SERVICES A 10% tax will be charged to the entire cost of food and beverages (Gratuity not included). A 3% event fee will be added to the final bill. The Clubhouse at HeatherRidge is a golf course event venue set on a nine-hole layout in Gurnee, Illinois, where flowing creeks and ponds wind through seven of the nine holes. Opened in 1975, the property has grown into one of Illinois's well-regarded nine-hole facilities, offering both indoor and outdoor settings for weddings, banquets, and private parties. The newly renovated Clubhouse features a Waterfall Lounge and dance floor and accommodates up to 150 guests. Outside, the Cabana Bar and Grill provides a relaxed open-air gathering space with views of the course grounds. Whether hosting an indoor reception, an outdoor ceremony, or a combination of both, the venue's surroundings — mature trees, manicured fairways, and scenic water features — lend a natural backdrop to any celebration.

The Schram Memorial Chapel, named after famed Navy Captain Richard A. Schram and originally built at the Glenview Naval Air Station during World War II, served as a place of worship for thousands of servicemen and women passing through this military installation. The Village of Glenview and Kimball Hill Builders moved this historic non-denominational chapel from its original position after the Naval Air Station closed. The Schram Memorial Chapel is now held by the Glenview Park District and can be rented by groups, individuals, and organizations. Its rich history and impressive religious construction make it a very unique location for important milestones and memorable occasions. Both the rehearsal and the ceremony will be staffed by a caretaker. The caretaker is in charge of making sure the building is available to the renter during the agreed-upon rental hours, as well as setting the temperature and audio equipment. They are unable to direct your event, but are delighted to answer questions and make recommendations. The rehearsal can take place on any day (a week before, the night before, etc.) as long as the required day and time are available. The rehearsal will last one and a half hours. In addition to the ceremony rental, this time must be paid for. Typically, five flower stands, two altar shelves, 20 pews, and two podiums are all decorated. Except for tape on an aisle runner, we do not allow the use of nails, glue, or tape. Ribbon, tulle, or rubber bands can be used to connect pew decorations. Decorations are usually put up approximately 20-30 minutes prior to the wedding. Renters and their service providers have access to the building during the agreed rental term.

"Windy Pines," now known as The Redfield Estate, was built by Bertha Redfield and her second husband, Paul Petersen in 1929. The architect’s arrangement of the west wing, with its fireplace and balcony at an unusual angle to the remainder of the house, was influenced by the Prairie style of architecture. Overall, the effect is reminiscent of a country house in northern Europe. It is particularly lovely due to its variation of line, leaded glass windows, stone, stucco, and slate materials. It had a formal rose garden on one side of the home and a "natural" environment intended to attract wildlife on the other, in addition to its numerous distinctive design features. Even now, deer and other wild creatures can be seen through the windows.

The Kenilworth Assembly Hall was designed by Chicago architect George W. Maher, who was a contemporary of Frank Lloyd Wright. It was completed in 1907. It is designated on the National Register of Historic Places and has functioned as a lovely community house since it was built in the early twentieth century. Located in the lovely North Shore community of Kenilworth, it is conveniently located close to Lake Michigan, downtown Chicago, and other major transportation hubs. Unity on the North Shore is an Evanston spiritual community that has been hosting life ceremonies since the congregation moved into its current home on Christmas Eve 1960. Nellie's Band Room The Band Room, or main performance room, is our largest event venue, with a stage area and a large bar on the first floor. For an additional $250 and $100, respectively, you can use our cutting-edge sound system and/or lighting features. We can host and cater for nearly any type of event in this area, not just live music. - Dinners for up to 30 people, seated and plated - Up to 200 people can be served at a buffet. - Up to 400 guests, cash bar with limited food from the normal menu - We can accommodate 400+ guests if this space is combined with the Mezzanine upstairs. The Mezzanine The Mezzanine on the second floor gives a beautiful view of the show as well as a separate bar with access to the rooftop. Arlington Lakes Golf Club is an 18-hole, 90-acre municipal golf course in Arlington Heights, Illinois, owned and managed by the Arlington Heights Park District. The course was renovated in 2016 and sits on land that once served as a Nike Missile Base, with water hazards coming into play on 13 of 18 holes. The clubhouse offers two dedicated event spaces suited for private celebrations and corporate gatherings. The Hearth Room accommodates up to 95 guests and features a dance floor and a wrap-around balcony overlooking the fairways — a setting that works well for wedding receptions, anniversary parties, and retirement events. The Festival Room seats up to 40 and is well suited for showers, luncheons, and smaller corporate meetings. The Merrick Rose Garden features hundreds of beautiful rose bushes, as well as the historic Fountain Square Centennial Fountain. The Garden is located at Lake Street and Oak Avenue, one block east of Ridge Avenue. In 2003, new garden lighting and irrigation systems were installed and the retaining walls were reconstructed. We decided to open the Snug at the same time as the temperance movement began in Evanston to accommodate folks searching for a small private party area to enjoy our freshly-made drinks and our local fair. It has enough space for a cocktail party of up to 15 people or a seated meal for 10-14 people, as well as plenty of furniture and a huge window. Our dining room can handle a corporate lunch as well as a traditional family-style supper.. Whatever your requirements, we will do all we can to meet them. If you would want to listen to your own music, we offer audiovisual possibilities with our Sharp HD television and iPod ports.
