Santa Anita Park is a historic thoroughbred horse racing venue set at the foot of the San Gabriel Mountains in Arcadia, California. Opened in 1934, the property spans more than one million square feet of flexible indoor and outdoor space and accommodates groups from 20 to 10,000 guests across a range of distinct event environments. The venue hosts weddings, corporate meetings, galas, quinceañeras, trade shows, reunions, and private race-day experiences, with dedicated event planning staff, in-house culinary services, and a preferred vendor network available for every occasion. Indoor venues include the 4,350-square-foot Chandelier Room — with its namesake historic fixtures and capacity for up to 350 reception guests — and the 2,300-square-foot Directors' Room, finished in imported antique wood and suited to intimate dinners and board meetings. Every day and in so many ways, the L.A. Zoo offers meaningful opportunities for discovery, education, and inspiration. #LAZooLove Rainforest of the Americas is the Zoo's newest state-of-the-art exhibit, transporting guests to a tropical rainforest full of life. From the treetops to the rivers, creatures are crawling, flying, slithering, hiding, sleeping, and living. Detailed sculptures, educational graphics, and architectural elements create an immersive experience for guests, while specific animal highlights include amazing critters from piranhas and giant otters, to harpy eagles and jaguars. The Elephants of Asia habitat includes features that are dedicated to the health and welfare of the elephants, such as bathing pools, sandy hills, varied topography, enrichment opportunities, and a state of the art barn that is capable of caring for elephants of all ages. Elephants of Asia focuses on the rich connection between elephants and the cultures of Thailand, India, China, and Cambodia. The Covina Center for the Performing Arts is a historic theater located in the heart of Downtown Covina, California. Originally opened in 1920, the venue has long served as an entertainment and cultural destination for the San Gabriel Valley. In December 2022, the City of Covina acquired the theater to preserve it as a performing arts space and anchor for the city's downtown district. Today, the center operates as a creative performing arts hub offering comedy shows, theater productions, musicals, and private event rentals. A partnership with The Laugh Factory brings regular comedy club performances, including appearances by well-known comedians, to the venue's historic stage. The facility is available for private rental and accommodates a variety of occasions — from weddings and film productions to meetings and community gatherings. Two rental spaces are available: the main theater with its original stage and chandelier-lit auditorium, and a banquet room suited for smaller gatherings.
