Is it necessary to book a large wedding venue? While Los Coyotes is excellent for any size wedding, the Grand Ballroom's patio, which can accommodate up to 350 people, is ideal for a larger wedding ceremony. From an elevated vantage point, the terrace offers broad views of the groomed course. The Cypress Palm Room, which seats up to 200 people and has french doors that overlook the lake, is ideal for indoor parties or celebrations. The Villa Del Sol is a Spanish Colonial historic landmark nestled in the heart of downtown Fullerton, California. Originally built in 1923 as the California Hotel — designed by local architects Frank Benchley and Eugene Durfee and constructed at a cost of $136,000 — the property has been transformed into a mixed-use destination anchored by a charming al fresco courtyard that serves as its signature event space. The courtyard welcomes up to 200 guests for outdoor weddings, receptions, quinceañeras, corporate gatherings, and birthday celebrations. Beautifully landscaped with islands of palm trees and flowering greenery, the space features a Spanish-tiled bubbling fountain, ivy-covered breezeways, graceful archways, wrought-iron railings, and towering turrets — creating a naturally photogenic setting throughout. A second-floor terrace provides an elegant setting for cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, while European accent lighting sets the ambiance for evening events. The enchanted site upon which Adamson House sits, where Malibu Creek meets the Pacific Ocean, was once home to the Chumash Indians, who thrived there until the late 18th century. Later, the Rindge family owned 17,000 acres and 20 miles of coastline and constructed a beach house, now the historic Adamson House museum, there. The Spanish Colonial Revival style home is now a National Historic Site, California Historical Landmark, and a California State Park. Built in 1929, it occupies one of the most idyllic oceanfront spots in all of Southern California. Situated near the Malibu Pier between popular Surfrider Beach and the Malibu Lagoon, the house boasts an exotic mix of Spanish and Moorish influences with dazzling displays of decorative tiles and one-of-a-kind craftsmanship including hand-carved doors, hand-painted frescoes, molded ceilings, distinctive cast ironwork and lead-framed bottle glass windows. Weddings, receptions and special events are scheduled from March through November and take place on the beautiful oceanfront property: the sycamore lawn, the front courtyard, and the rear lawn by the star fountain. All events are held outdoors, not inside Adamson House. If you would like to give your guests the opportunity to see the interior tile and house collections, State Parks can coordinate a special tour with our docent program. We offer an "open" house tour during your cocktail hour, with an additional cost of 500 dollars. A permit for this tour can be included in the wedding contract by the state wedding coordinator. We recommend that couples looking to rent this venue visit the park, walk the ocean front property, and take a tour of the house itself. Seeing the historic beach house full of Malibu Potteries tile and hearing the history of the last family to own all of Malibu is remarkable. The grounds are open to the public, seven days a week from 8 am to sunset. There is no parking on-site; however you can park in the LACO Surfrider Beach parking lot in front of the property, or in the Malibu Lagoon Beach lot across the bridge.

Oak Canyon Nature Center is a 58-acre natural park tucked into the Santa Ana foothills of Anaheim Hills, California, where three adjoining canyons meet in a landscape of oak woodland and coastal sage scrub. A year-round stream winds through the property, and four miles of hiking trails trace the ridgelines and canyon floors that surround the event area. The centerpiece for private events is the outdoor amphitheater, set among native coastal oaks and accommodating up to 200 guests for wedding ceremonies. Rentals include four hours of event time, a two-hour rehearsal, use of an on-site sound system, and access to indoor restrooms. The amphitheater features a built-in arch, stage, and tiered seating, framed entirely by natural landscape. Oak Canyon Nature Center is a ceremony-only venue operated by the City of Anaheim; receptions are not permitted on the grounds.
