Kozo Hasegawa, the CEO of Global Dining Inc., traveled to the United States in 1991 to open his first international restaurant, which would later become known as La Bohème in West Hollywood, California. Inspired by a lifetime of travel experiences, he set out to create a one-of-a-kind dining experience with La Bohème, which is now widely regarded as one of the most romantic scenes in Los Angeles. The garden patio is accented with beautiful roses and fragrant jasmine, and it includes a fireplace. With their low tungsten light, majestic French chandeliers dangle from high ceilings, illuminating a dining room that is both spacious and intimate at the same time. Idle Hour is a bar and private event venue in North Hollywood, Los Angeles, housed in a distinctive barrel-shaped structure built in 1941. The building is a celebrated example of programmatic architecture — designed to attract passing motorists — and has become a neighborhood landmark along Vineland Avenue. The venue offers Americana cocktails and food in an atmosphere that reflects its original era, with a warmly lit wood-paneled interior and a cozy back patio anchored by a beloved giant bear statue. The venue accommodates up to 130 guests and has a private, spacious parking lot. Facilities and Capacity The secluded courtyard is a perfect location for your ceremony—a floral pergola arches over the gate and provides a colorful background for the moment you both say ‘I do’. Rows of seats can be set out for your guests to watch. Here, a Spanish-tiled water fountain, paving, flower beds, and shade-providing trees all combine to create a beautiful walled-garden effect. The courtyard can also be arranged to host your reception. In setting out round tables, chairs, centerpieces, cutlery, and plates, it becomes a beautiful place to experience al fresco dining. It also provides a marvelous backdrop for a stunning photoshoot. The clubhouse offers an impeccably designed interior space with a ballroom, buffet space, and kitchen. Otium is a restaurant that removes the formalities of dining and instead focuses on the quality of the food, the warmth of the service, and the relaxed casual atmosphere. The name of the restaurant, Otium, has its origins in Latin and is intended to convey the idea of a place where time can be spent engaging in leisurely social activities. With options ranging from intimate dinners on our mezzanine to large gatherings on the plaza, as well as off-site catering, we are happy to personalize the experience for you and your guests. It's on the patio. Our patio has a view of the grassy park that we share with The Broad Museum of Contemporary Art. On the Broad side of the patio, there is a gas fire pit as well as lounge seating for guests. On the other end of the patio, there is a wood-fired rotisserie with seating for a full-service dinner. Guests can reserve either side of the patio, or they can request a complete patio buyout.
