14TENN is an industrial blank canvas event space in The Nations neighborhood of Nashville TN. THE NATIONS' HISTORY: The Nations was once the point where Native American tribes would meet to communicate with each other. Today, the neighborhood has been redeveloped into an eclectic spot for local breweries, restaurants and retail, with 51st ave being the epicenter. The building that is now 14TENN was built in 1925 as part of the original Belle Meade Hosiery Mill. A richly historical city, Nashville is also home to Vanderbilt University, The Grand Ole Opry, and a to-scale replica of the Parthenon. Nashville, known as Music City, is famous for country music, hot chicken, and whiskey. The Union Station Nashville Yards occupies a former L&N Railroad terminal at 1001 Broadway, built in 1900 in a heavy-stone Richardsonian-Romanesque style complete with a clock tower and a statue of Mercy, the Roman deity of merchants and travelers. The terminal closed in 1979, and since 1986 the building has operated as a luxury boutique hotel and special event destination, now listed on the National Register of Historic Places and designated a Historic Hotel of America. The centerpiece is the Grand Lobby, topped by a 65-foot barrel-vaulted ceiling with gold-leaf medallions and original luminous prism stained glass, and named one of the "Best Hotel Lobbies in the World" by Condé Nast Traveler. Marble floors, oak-accented woodwork, three limestone fireplaces, and gold-accented bas-relief angel figurines round out the space, which can host up to 300 guests for a reception. Beyond the lobby, the hotel offers four event venues in all, including the open-air Trestle beneath the Broadway Bridge and the covered Veranda, along with more than 11,000 square feet of meeting space across six named rooms for weddings, galas, and corporate gatherings. Belle Meade Historic Site & Winery sits on roughly 30 acres just minutes from downtown Nashville, on grounds that once served as a 19th-century thoroughbred horse farm internationally recognized for its legacy of Southern hospitality. The estate's Greek Revival mansion and boxwood garden, shaded by centuries-old magnolia trees, provide a historic backdrop for wedding ceremonies, while six historic structures across the property give planners a range of settings to choose from for receptions and private events. For receptions, the Carriage House offers a climate-controlled space with exposed wood and historic brickwork, accommodating up to 200 guests for dinner and dancing. A tented option with solid flooring is also available, serving as a cocktail area, seated dinner space, or rain-plan backup for the same guest count. Cheekwood Estate & Gardens is the former family home of Mabel and Leslie Cheek, a 1930s Georgian-style mansion set on 55 acres in Nashville. Today it operates as a botanical garden, arboretum, and museum, with thirteen distinct gardens, a 1.5-mile woodland sculpture trail featuring contemporary outdoor art, and the restored Cheek Mansion, which showcases period furnishings and rotating exhibitions. For weddings and private events, Cheekwood offers a range of indoor and outdoor spaces set against the rolling hills of Nashville's Percy Warner Park, from intimate garden settings like the Wisteria Arbor and Burr Terrace Garden to larger venues such as Massey Hall and the Historic Mansion & Swan Lawn. Ruby is a gem of an event and wedding venue. But, we'll never tell you why we call her Ruby. Beautiful in her simplicity, and yet modern for her age. Flirty but deadly-serious, just like your favorite little black dress. Ruby is a vintage space that’s been renovated with a timeless classiness. Ruby was redesigned and rebuilt her in 2011. Ever since, Ruby has has been an integral part the historic Hillsboro Village neighborhood. And being directly across the street from Vanderbilt University in midtown, Ruby seems to be at the heart of things in Nashville. Perhaps Ruby's greatest claim to fame is its location within a Nashville city park, what everyone refers to as Dragon Park. The advantage of being an oasis in the park in the middle of the city is clear the moment you arrive. Decks and courtyards ring the historic structure are are used for bars, catering and everything else that benefit from the outdoors. Our focus on venue architecture and design elevates the space to what we believe to be among the finest wedding venues in Nashville.
