Union Square Park
900 3rd Ave, New York, NY 10022, USAUnion Square has been a gathering area for about 170 years—for trade, entertainment, labor and political rallies, and relaxation. The park gets its name from its location at the crossroads of two important New York City thoroughfares, Bloomingdale Road (now Broadway) and Bowery Road (now Fourth Avenue). Union Square first opened to the public on July 19, 1839. Its paths, which wind through lushly landscaped lawns, were inspired by London's affluent residential squares. The design concentrated on a big central fountain, which was constructed for the completion of the Croton Aqueduct in 1842, and accentuated the park's oval shape (contained by an iron picket fence). Union Square became a significant commercial and residential area as New York City's downtown extended northward. The grounds of Union Square have hosted a variety of public gatherings, including parades, labor protests, political rallies, and official events such as the United States Sanitary Commission's Great Metropolitan Fair in 1864. Because of its significance in American labor history, the United States Department of the Interior designated Union Square Park as a National Historic Landmark in 1997. The park line will be extended south 14th Street, and the traffic island on which the Gandhi statue now sits will be incorporated into the park.

212 Steakhouse
316 E 53rd St, New York, NY 10022, USA- Spaces for 110 Guests
- 1 Restaurant
212 Steakhouse is proud to be the first and only Japanese Kobe Beef Marketing & Distribution Promotion Association member in New York, making us the only restaurant on the East Coast serving authentic Japanese Kobe Beef. Kobe beef is a delicate, dignified sweet lean meat that is complemented by the taste and aroma of melt-in-your-mouth fat. Its so-called "shimofuri" fat marbling is the key to its delectability. At low temperatures, the "sashi" fatty component of the flesh itself begins to melt. It will virtually melt in your mouth as a result of this. Its exceptional flavor is due to an abundance of irosinie and oleic acids, which have been scientifically proven. Our location, located in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, offers elegance and comfort in a charming setting for a memorable wedding or a variety of events. Our professional top-of-the-line team and chefs painstakingly construct every element to suit your style and budget in order to create a memorable event. Our mission is to provide every foodie with a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Our goal is to produce and promote a delicious and engaging dining experience.

First and foremost, fusion cuisine blends seamlessly with the most recent gastronomic trends, and the best natural products are elevated to the level of internationally recognized specialties. Each dish on the Encore menu is the culmination of years of effort, gastronomic explorations, and a reverence for the culinary traditions. No matter what your expectations are, Encore, Brooklyn's largest restaurant with the friendliest atmosphere, is waiting to exceed them. Appetizers to die for, seductively sizzling sausages, succulent chickens, tender shrimp, juicy steaks, and much more are available at the restaurant. At a young age, I was inspired to pursue a career in the culinary arts. When I first arrived in the United States, I enrolled in courses in hotel and restaurant management at New York Technical College. The opportunity to work in France, at the prestigious Hotel de France, presented itself to me in 1998. Later, I made my way into the New York City restaurant industry, where I worked as a pastry chef at the Russian Tea Room. I was awarded two gold medals by the Societe Culinaire Philanthropique's Salon of Culinary Art for my work in the kitchen. Having worked at places such as the Glen Oaks Country Club, City Hall, La Grenouille, and Gascogne Bistro, I decided to branch out and open my own restaurant on Staten Island in 2007. Over the course of seven years, the Alor Cafe has evolved into a fine dining and music venue. Today, I am the proud father of three children, and I live in Brooklyn with my wife. As a business owner, I take pleasure in giving back to my community. I also appreciate that Staten Island's accessibility allows for affordable ownership while still remaining connected to the city's energy. I recently ended my relationship with my long-term partner, but I'm ready to move on to the next phase. My current project is the "Better Burger" Project for the Chefs of America Foundation, on which I am currently working as a member. I've taken on this responsibility with the goal of demonstrating to the Staten Island community that eating healthy, sustainable foods is a wise choice and that this is the direction in which the restaurant market is moving.
