Rancho Buena Vista Adobe is a City of Vista-owned historic property and outdoor event venue set on 30 acres at 640 Alta Vista Drive in Vista, California. Built in the Monterey style on a cobblestone foundation, the single-story adobe brick hacienda dates to the mid-1800s and is considered one of the best-preserved land-grant ranchos in San Diego County. The grounds are lush with antique roses, native plants, and fruit trees, creating a setting shaped equally by California history and natural beauty. Three outdoor areas are available for private events: the Main Courtyard, suited for ceremonies, cocktail parties, and receptions; the Sun Dial Patio Area, ideal for ceremonies and cocktail receptions; and the Wishing Well Garden, a more intimate space for ceremonies and cocktail receptions. Together, the areas accommodate up to 250 guests. Rentals include tables and white folding chairs, and a guest house kitchen is available for caterers.
