Meredith College offers sixteen rentable venues across a 225-acre campus in Raleigh, from an intimate parlor for forty guests to a lakeside amphitheater seating 2,500. Jones Chapel is the heart of the campus for ceremonies, with soaring traditional architecture, stained glass, a functioning pipe organ and seating for 440, and an adjoining garden gazebo for photographs. Receptions and dinners are held in Belk Banquet Hall West, the Wainwright Suites and the Johnson Hall Rotunda, where a working fine art gallery surrounds the room. Outdoors, the McIver Amphitheater looks out over a lake and fountain, the Lake Gazebo and Small Island offers a waterfront setting for intimate ceremonies, and courtyards and gardens across campus suit gatherings of every size. For performances and presentations, Jones Auditorium seats 650 with a professional stage and full technical support, and Carswell Recital Hall offers 185 acoustically designed seats. NESTLED ON 12 ACRES IN THE QUAINT TOWN OF NEW HILL, THE BRADFORD WAS INTENTIONALLY DESIGNED TO EMBRACE THE COUNTRYSIDE OF EUROPE WHILE EMBODYING THE SERENITY OF HOME. IT IS A PLACE WHERE EFFORTLESS ELEGANCE MEETS APPROACHABLE LUXURY. AN EVENT AT THE BRADFORD IS NOT JUST A DAY OR A SINGLE MOMENT. IT IS A UNIQUELY TAILORED EXPERIENCE. The Bradford began on a paper napkin during lunch at Bear Rock Cafe while planning Dana's wedding. I know it sounds like every other venue start up...but that's really how it happened! Our original sketch looked something like a warehouse - nothing like our plans today. We decided then that if we were going to open a venue we should really learn more about the event planning process from a planner's perspective not just a bride's. Thus C and D began! After 6 years of planning events, we decided that we were ready to pursue our first dream of opening a venue. We searched high and low for the perfect piece of property (one that had enough space and perk was rather difficult to find). We eventually stumbled upon this little gem in New Hill and started the process of seeing if it would fit our needs. It took us 6 months to purchase, and go through the right avenues with county, 1 year to get financing, and in 2013 we started building! Our first event was August of 2014 and as they say, the rest is history! A lot of people ask if this was a historic home, or a family home - and the answer is no! We just built it to look old and historic. We put every thing we owned into this property and took a massive leap of faith- and we are so grateful we did! We love hosting events and love seeing our clients get married here and have the most perfect day. It is truly our dream job and we are so grateful for all the clients past and present that fell in the love with the property much like we did. WE CAN’T WAIT TO MEET YOU AND HOST YOUR PERFECT EVENT!
