Stilly Brook Farm
21916 7th Ave NE, Arlington, WA 98223, USA- Spaces for 160-200 Guests
- 1 Barn
- 1 Farm
Stilly Brook Farm was first settled in 1889 by a pioneer family. A Swedish barn builder built the current barn in the 1920s near to the ancient Stillagaumish River channel. It still has its original cedar timbers and cathedral ceiling, which could hold up to 25 tons of hay at one time. For nearly a century, the farm remained operating, largely with modest crops and milk cows. Richard and Beverly Emery decided to develop the farm into an event center in the year 2000, with the goal of hosting weddings, religious events, and family reunions. The bottom floor was cleaned up and turned into a reception hall, and the property was landscaped into lovely gardens. The present owners, David and Terri Lundquist, and their five kids, are expanding on what the Emerys envisioned when they transformed this lonely farm into a place for everyone to enjoy. When you walk in, you'll notice that Stilly Brook Farm has paid attention to every detail in this newly remodeled location.

Along 200 private acres of waterfront on Discovery Bay, between Sequim and Port Townsend on the Olympic Peninsula, orchards heavy with fruit and gardens give way to koi ponds shaded by weeping willows, lavender fields, and forested trails that lead down to private beach and lagoon access. Troll Haven, also known as Bandy Farms, is a working organic farm and event property that hosts weddings, gatherings, reunions, and retreats across these grounds, where animals roam freely and orchards yield apples, pears, figs, cherries, and other fruit sold seasonally from August through November. At the center of the property sits the Antique Barn Reception Hall, a fully modernized event space that pairs a casual, timber-framed atmosphere — exposed wood, massive beams, and a collection of antiques and artwork — with a powerful sound system and room for dancing. It seats up to 150 guests and holds a maximum capacity of 200, with an on-site kitchen, bridal suite, and groom's saloon supporting the reception. Couples can also exchange vows outdoors among the orchards, lavender fields, or along the waterfront backdrop of Discovery Bay before returning to the barn to celebrate. Jenne Farm With Whidbey Island Weddings
538 Engle Rd, Coupeville, WA 98239, USA- Spaces for 120 Guests

Jenne grazed sheep and worked some of the highest per-acre wheat yields of his era on the land. The farm later passed out of the family, and in 2000 new owners purchased the property with the goal of preserving it as a working farm; by December 2002, Jenne Farm had become part of Ebey's Landing National Historic Reserve. Located one mile south of Coupeville and surrounded by 140 acres of crops, forest, and scrub, the property offers sweeping views of farmland, prairie, or water from every window and the wrap-around porch of the 1908 farmhouse. The grounds accommodate outdoor weddings and reunions for up to 125 guests, and the farmhouse itself — with four large bedrooms, two bathrooms, a dining room, fireplace room, and parlor — is available for multi-night wedding weekend stays as well as shorter vacation getaways.

Washington State Legislative Building
Washington State Capitol Building, 416 Sid Snyder Ave SW, Olympia, WA 98504, USA- Spaces for 200 Guests
The Washington State Legislative Building anchors the Capitol Campus in Olympia. Completed in 1928, it was designed by New York architects Walter R. Wilder and Harry K. White. Wilkeson sandstone, quarried in Pierce County, covers the exterior. Inside, marble arrives from farther away: Formosa marble lines the Senate chamber, French Escalette marble lines the House, and gray Alaskan marble runs through the main corridors. A Tiffany chandelier hangs over the Washington State Seal in the rotunda. The rotunda, its mezzanines, and the Columbia Room host weddings, receptions, dances, and graduation ceremonies. Private events can take place inside the building after hours. Outdoors, ceremonies can also take place in the Sunken Garden, under a wisteria trellis, or on the lawn near the Tivoli fountain. The surrounding grounds were laid out by the Olmsted Brothers and include an arboretum and cherry trees, all within a National Historic District.

Since both campuses are ADA-accessible with elevators and offer free on-site parking, groups of nearly any size can move easily between spaces, from small classrooms that seat up to 35 people to the Community Hall, a 2,336-square-foot room with sprung bamboo flooring, a stage with podium, and seating for up to 135 guests (150 standing), and the Greenwood Room, which accommodates up to 200 seated guests beneath its accordion dividing wall and projection screen. Because the association hosts nearly 800 community activities each year across these same rooms, renters booking an event here are stepping into buildings that already anchor daily community life in Northwest Seattle.
