    Historic Mansion + Carriage House surrounded by green space in charming First Hill neighborhood HISTORY The Mansion maintains the historic glamour and charm of the 1900s as originally one of Seattle’s founding families estate home. The splendor of the Stimson-Green Mansion derives from an assortment of vintage artifacts, fixtures, fireplaces and leaded windows. Home to the Washington Trust for Historic Preservation, no detail is overlooked. BEST USES The Mansion offers a fantastic backdrop for any event looking to add a touch of historic grandeur. From a casual birthday party to an intimate wedding celebration, the venue is flexible to meet your vision. Each booking is expected to bring their own food and beverage. Your rental includes everything you need such as warming trays, compostable plates and flatware, serving platters, ice, and more. You will work with our Events Coordinator to determine the best floor plan for your event. Tables and chairs are available in a variety of layouts that perfectly suite a cocktail party for 150 or a seating affair for up to 65 people. Other options can be provided at an additional cost, such as bartender, DJ, and parking garage. THE SPACE The main floor and main entrance welcomes guests with a Grand Foyer worthy of the family that built this home. To one end of the hall is the Library and a view of the largest fireplace of the property. All throughout is artwork and artifacts reflecting the early 20th century history of the building. The Library is home to both a large ornate fireplace and also a small mezzanine that is home to a baby grand piano. One wall is lined with books and another with large picture windows. Portraits of the Stimson & Green families give the room a regal atmosphere. The dining room also includes a fireplace and an ornate romanesque dining table that seats 20 (including 20 upholstered dining chairs), plenty of room for the grandest food buffet. Not only is the facility attractively designed, with its lovely environment, pleasant walks, and calm atmosphere, but it also has a fascinating history. Tim and Tracy Stocker's children represent the farm's sixth generation of Stockers. When the dairy industry did not appear to be promising, the family began to cultivate sod, often known as turf, years ago. This business was a success, but it left the family with idle barns and undeveloped land. Hidden Meadows arose from the old barns that formerly housed hundreds of dairy cows to the unique events venue it is today, thanks to Tracy Stocker's architectural vision, the cooperation and support of family and friends, and countless hours given to building. The Hidden Meadows facility is certainly a magical change, demonstrating that its blend of country setting and expressive design is an ideal recipe for a superb event atmosphere.
