Hawksmoor was inspired by childhood memories of how good steak could taste. Founders Will Beckett and Huw Gott (friends since they were 11) opened the first Hawksmoor restaurant on London’s Commercial Street in 2006. More restaurants in London, Manchester, Edinburgh, New York, Liverpool and Dublin followed. Our menus revolve around using the best ingredients we can find and cooking them as simply as possible – whether it be beef from grass-fed cattle, sustainable seafood from around the local coast, seasonal fruits and vegetables or local cheeses combined with great wines and interesting cocktails all served by people who love what they do.

Simon Oren, Dudi Sasson and Chef James Tracey bring midtown Manhattan a glamorous bold American restaurant. A raw bar features every crustacean imaginable, and servers stroll through the dining room brandishing custom gueridon carts preparing items tableside. The menu circles the globe offering Chef Tracey’s seasonal cuisine alongside an extensive selection of Prime Dry-Aged Steaks, and Roast Prime Rib of Beef. Designed by Scott Kester and Dudi Sasson, the two-floor lofty space is comfortable and lavish with an expansive bar and seating for upwards of 200 guests; perfect for large group dining, with private rooms for business and social events.

Opened in October of 2018, Recreation is the latest installment from restauranteur and nightlife operator Jon Neidich of Golden Age Hospitality. Located upstairs at Moxy NYC Downtown Hotel in the Financial District, Recreation is a 5000 sq. ft. communal co-working space by day and a bar by night - serving as the ultimate living room for the neighborhood. The cocktail program—designed by Jim Kearns—showcases one of the most advanced tap cocktail systems in the country. The food menu at Recreation features all-day, evening, and late night dishes from Chef Akhtar Nawab of Alta Calidad.
