Located in New York City, The Love Shack is a surreal photographic location and event space. Alexander and Brittany Love designed and built two life-size dollhouses inside an abandoned industrial building in Bushwick, Brooklyn. A large majority of the pieces of furniture and lighting you see are either original designs, or they have been restored and modified from their original forms. Some of our pieces, such as our one-of-a-kind lighting designs and The Library Chair, are available for purchase. In addition to photoshoots, small corporate events like cocktail parties, weddings, and other intimate gatherings, the Love Shack can be used as a performance space or as a screening room. Casino in the Park, the hospitality core of Lincoln Park, has been an entertainment hub since its inception in 1950, playing host to celebrity and political dignitaries including Frank Sinatra and former President Bill Clinton. The ambitious site plan, showcasing a reimagined Casino in the Park structure, creatively incorporates aspects of the site’s legacy into the contemporary design.
