We decided to open the Snug at the same time as the temperance movement began in Evanston to accommodate folks searching for a small private party area to enjoy our freshly-made drinks and our local fair. It has enough space for a cocktail party of up to 15 people or a seated meal for 10-14 people, as well as plenty of furniture and a huge window. The Town can accommodate up to 36 guests in the middle of the dining area, which is designed to seem like a village from the eighteenth century. The Balcony, which overlooks the main dining area, is available for cocktail receptions and sit-down meals for up to 50 people at Vivere Restaurant and Bar. For private events, the Adams Street location offers more dedicated event space than any other Elephant & Castle location in the United States.
