The Inn At The Old Silk Mill is located in the heart of Fredericksburg's historic downtown. The Inn, which was built in the 1930s, was one of the largest motor lodges on the east coast at the time. The Inn exudes a relaxed elegance that is infused with a sense of nostalgia for a bygone period. There are 27 antique-appointed bed and breakfast rooms, each with its own private bath, making the Inn an excellent choice for a romantic weekend away, wedding reception, corporate retreat, or any other occasion. Every day, a hot, freshly prepared continental breakfast is provided at no charge. The courtyard, which is straight out the back doors of the Inn and leads to the Silk Mill, is a great place for outdoor seating.
