Borasso’s uniquely crafted liquors (rum, gin, vodka and absinthe) use hyperlocal ingredients harvested from right here in Louisiana, celebrate the flavors (and the stories!) of the Gulf South and beyond. The distillery features a tasting room with extraordinary relics of New Orleans history, including colorful set pieces once used in TV/film and theatre sets, and antique papier-mache Mardi Gras float pieces from as early as the 1940s!

St. James Cheese Company - Warehouse District
641 Tchoupitoulas St, New Orleans, LA 70130, USA- 1 Wedding Album
St. James Cheese Company is the perfect setting for private wine and cheese tastings, happy hours, rehearsal dinners, baby and bridal showers, weddings, and more. Cheese, cheese, charcuterie, and more cheese, please. Sandwiches, salads, and even more cheese are all on the menu. Mission The purpose of our business is to present our clients with a precisely picked and unexpectedly broad range of wonderfully mature cheeses, charcuterie, and gourmet food products. Our menu has been carefully crafted to include sandwiches, salads, and cheese-centric dishes that are both contemporary and European in style, in order to appeal to a wide range of food enthusiasts. What it Is and How it Works We know people who know people who know people who know people who know people. The best method to obtain the farmhouse cheeses we are wild about is to identify the people who love creating them as much as we do about selling them. We found this out a long time ago and have been using it ever since. We've established an international network of cheese makers and affineurs who supply us with the artisan and farmhouse cheeses that are not available in other shops in the United States. What to Expect When You Arrive We operate on the premise that cheese should be enjoyable, and we strive to make each and every visit to our shop unique and memorable. There are areas for the cheese novice, the rind smelling expert, and the curd curious to explore. These are the folks who work for us. St James cheesemongers and guests are urged to sample every cheese available on a daily basis in order to guarantee that each cheese is served at its best.

Race & Religious
510 Race St, New Orleans, LA 70130, USA- 2 Wedding Albums
Race & Religious is located along the riverfront of the Lower Garden District, between the Convention Center and Magazine Street. Offering 6,500 square feet of indoor and outdoor floor-space (4,000 indoor), Race & Religious is comprised of three structures on the property. Built in the 1830’s, a two-story Creole cottage facing Religious Street was purchased by owner Granville Semmes in 1977 in complete disrepair. He spent nearly thirty years gutting the property, restoring its original beauty and adding hand-picked antiques and layers of decor. Years later, Semmes became eager to acquire the neighboring corner property at 510 Race Street, which he eventually purchased in August of 2003. The addition was a three story Greek Revival Rowhouse accompanied by a dependency, a hallmark of the property. The labor of love required extensive renovations, including his decision to re-imagine the space by merging the separate homes together with a lush brick courtyard and swimming pool lit by the flicker of gas lamps. The unified space includes two commercially-equipped kitchens, working fireplaces, interior and exterior speakers, balconies overlooking the courtyard and downtown New Orleans.
