The new owner of Carol’s Pub has found a few mysteries inside the 45-year-old North Side dive. The biggest holdup preventing the bar from reopening — it’s been closed since September 2016 — has been fixing the west wall that faces Clark Street. The late-night dive has been a popular spot for cheap beer and live country music for decades at 4659 N. Clark Street.

Our outside garden can seat up to 20 people, or our back dining room with views of the garden can seat up to 30 people for a seated meal and 40 people for passed hors d'oeuvres. A complete restaurant buyout can seat 60 people for a seated dinner or 80 people for a cocktail reception. On Tuesday through Thursday evenings, we can accommodate up to ten visitors, and on Friday and Saturday evenings, we can accept up to six guests. Chef Mary Attea heads a culinary team that draws on their diverse backgrounds, international travels, and personal preferences to create vibrant flavors and imaginative recipes that defy categorization. Mary Attea is the Executive Chef at The Musket Room in Manhattan's Nolita area, a Michelin-starred restaurant. The Great Hall In 2019, a $22 million restoration of the Great Hall was finished, returning the area to its original colors and brightening it with a repaired and protected skylight. The North Great Hall or the South Great Hall can be rented. Depending on the date and approval, the entire space may be available. The Burlington Room This unusual chamber, which was once a women's waiting room and beauty parlor, has been closed to the public and utilized as a railroad "paper storage" in recent decades.
