About-Designs

The business began as a series of projects for a hospitality company back in 2014. Sonya was employed at a hotel brand as the in-house interior designer at a New York City hotel brand. While designing of all their public spaces & guest rooms, she moonlight as the stylist and florist. Having worked at a flower shop and greenhouse during college, she gained the perfect experience for directing photoshoots, designing weekly arrangements and planting rooftop gardens. After a few months of working double time, Sonya brought in her sister Eva to assist. From then on, a business was born.. From there we took on a couple hotel lobby flowers & plants, interior + exterior decorating for the holidays and seasonal changes to the outdoor areas. One thing led to another, soon we started designing weddings and corporate parties. Word of mouth is truely the best form of advertisement and is still something we rely on to this day.
