I'm quick with a joke, I'm interested in learning what your favorite movie is, and I really need to pet your dog. When it comes to making photographs, I aim to seize moments that are real, arresting, and evocative in some way. I'm not the kind of photographer who will tell you to put on your wedding heels three times just to get the right shot, and I want you to spend a lot more time looking at the person you're going to marry rather than at the camera I'm holding.
