I adore weddings because they are spontaneous, happy, touching, and one-of-a-kind. After my wedding, I wanted to keep in mind all the little details that contributed to the magical day. That our first look brought tears to my darling husband's eyes, that my sisters were frantically doing my hair, and that our entire community contributed to making our wedding ceremony special. The pictures Erich McVey returned to us were excellent; they perfectly captured every occasion and are among my most prized treasures. The same thing he did for us, I want to do for you. I want to meet your friends, learn about the characteristics of you and your fiancé that make you the perfect match, and learn about your most anticipated day. I want to document all those quick, windswept moments that are so simple to overlook and provide you with a lovely account of your wedding. I began my career as a digital photographer, a form of photography that I still appreciate for many of its qualities, but I have discovered that film better embodies this idea. It genuinely captures the magic of a wedding since it has a richness and depth that you won't find anywhere else, as well as a nostalgic quality.
