Amethyst Trio

As either a piano trio, harp trio, or flute trio, Amethyst is one-of-its kind in the SF Bay Area, playing everything from Beethoven to Coldplay. The sound of Celtic harp & strings is gentle and lovely. As a piano trio, the group provides both beautiful Classical and lively pop/rock & jazz styles. This unique blend of instruments and authentic styles, plus the expertise of its players, is what makes it stand out. The lead musician, Lara Garner, is a multi-instrumentalist (piano,harp,flute) and all the players have diverse musical interests and accomplishments. Amplification provided if needed. All the instruments have pickups, including the harp. A portable stage piano is provided for outdoor events.
